Amazing Force Feedback

I played this game on release…

I don’t remember this game having such good force feedback… This is amazing! Feels very detailed. And I even left it on default settings.

Was it always like this? Very nice.

There have been multiple improvements made since release, the ffb is much better than launch day.

Really enjoying Moza R3. Not sure if it’s because I’ve not used a wheel since the 360 days, but FFB (on wheel) seems amazing in FM23.

TBH it’s the only thing that keeps me coming back for an occasional freeplay race. If the game had a single player component, I would play it a lot more.

Really? I also played this game on release. And, while the FFB could certainly be coaxed into resembling something that one could argue felt “amazing”…it took a helluva lot of effort and tweaking of settings to finally arrive at that point. The “out of the box” settings were atrocious - they were pretty much universally panned - and felt like you were trying to turn the wheel through three feet of thick mud.

What would be amazing to me would be if the devs made such drastic changes to the FFB and its implementation that the default settings suddenly felt “acceptable”, never mind “amazing”.

I would think that such a massive rework would surely affect existing wheel users, and since I don’t recall seeing any massive outcry over peoples’ FFB suddenly changing or becoming undrivable, I’m leaning toward something else going on here, such as possible updated drivers/ firmware for your wheel, or maybe you’re not actually using the game’s default settings.

If you mean amazingly underdeveloped, then yes. The force feedback is "amazing"ly poorly done.

Pretty much how it was since launch. I don’t remember any updates to FFB over the past 15 updates.

After getting some settings I was able to work with, I was also impressed with the FFB. It’s not perfect and there are times where the game falls short (curb rumble is the only thing that I can think of as a standout issue), but over all this is the best feeling Forza Motorsport title by a wide margin.

It must be tuned, it will get better.

I’ve not played for a couple of weeks & did some NASCAR the last 2 nights. Felt a definite difference in FFB strength as soon as I started. I’ve changed nothing, it just felt heavier & I could feel more of the road surface on the big straights where it used to just feel light & limp.
Using a TM T248, only thing I changed from base settings was more FFB when I 1st got it because it felt so poor. Feels better now though.
