Today I’m gonna moan about this so called updated FFB.

Updated Force Feedback
The December update introduces some important changes to force feedback in Forza 7. The new force feedback is a full physically based system utilizing Forza Motorsport 7’s suspension kinematics and tire modeling to send tire loads to the steering wheel. It produces a more intuitive feel with more accurate align torque and a solid feeling of connection to the road.

Importantly for wheel users, this new wheel update completely replaces the old system, which means players’ tuning values from before December will be reset. Wheel users will need to tune from scratch to take advantage of this new and improved system. You are gonna ruin it as usual!

Then the community will complain and ‘Nitrosparkel’ or whatever the name is will end up blaming you, your console, your network, your wheel drivers, your wheel and perhaps even blame the water flow in your shower.

We been thrue this with fh4 and no fixes.
The violent shaking when starting it up.
The weird FFB.
Pedal deadzones.
Wheel deadzone.
None of it works as it should!

Oh well tomato/tomato it’s all the same.

PGG. Before release I would advise you to plug in a wheel yourself and test… test… test… fix … test… test… fix again… and test even more after a bunch more fixes.

I am not expecting Assetto Corsa FFB, but what ever your coding for the FFB is right now is just WRONG.

If you are on a pad, then you’ll be fine.
But for the majority of wheel users, who know what cargames can feel like on a wheel, for those it is a severe let down.

A steering wheel makes every cargame better, but that does not mean that the game is good on a wheel.

Forza is in my opinion one of the worst games on a wheel.

Farming simulator with the heavy centerspring brings me more joy then forza does at the moment.

I could have posted in an existing thread but didn’t look for it.
I understand what you are saying about waiting for the update before moaning, but I’ve had my hopes up to many times and got punched in the gut.

I work hard and pay money for product that do not work properly so… It’s my constitutional right to complain when I feel like it as long as I’m not using profanity on this forum.

I thought that the initial post was sarcasm and making fun of people who complain before trying it. I thought that because I assumed that nobody would actually start a thread to be this ridiculous unless it was meant as sarcasm.

He has reason to feel this way. Do I think it’s really necessary to make a thread saying that you doubt its actually going to fix it is necessary not really. But like i said hes justified in his thoughts. They have been coming out with improvements and a fix for ffb since forza 5… has yet to actually happen, so much so that someone has gone and made a 3rd party program for those on pc that makes ffb reasonable.
