Am I missing something? No expansion packs in Premium edition?

In the past, Motorsport and Horizon had two DLC “expansion packs” included in the premium editions. Specifically Hot Wheels and Rally in the last Horizon. I don’t see that this time. Does the premium edition only include extra cars, credits, and early access; with no expansion packs?

Might not be any expansion packs. Fm7 didn’t have any

The previous Motorsport was the same way.

You know, it’s been so long since FM7 I’d forgotten that it didn’t have it either. I was remembering the expansions from 6 I guess, with the Nascar and Porsche expansions.

Those expansions came well after release. They’re not selling a season pass or anything here.

I’m sure there’ll be interesting DLC down the track at some time.

So they are not having all 20 track locations at launch either?

  • so far only 12 revealed
  • I really hope for lovely sceneries like Prague and Alpensee and these places too
  • even inner city ones just brings something special to watch out for
  • wouldn’t mind intercity road ones either like FH has, so envious of them gamers

These left turn, right turn, right turn, left turn, just bore me to death.

  • Maple Valley is beautyful though

For reference, there were no expansions in Motorsport 7. It’s likely that given that the game is surely to evolve as a service model, the “expansions” could just be free as part of updates such as the obvious new cars and tracks, as well as new game modes.

But even then we still have the car pass, with a 30-car plan, with a new one every week, as well as exclusive cars such as the “race day car pack”.

Could be possible that new motorsports such as drag, drift and rally could be added later on, but let’s see.

One of the things I’m most happy about with their refocus on circuit racing is getting rid of so many of their fatasy tracks.

I always found them really immersion breaking and couldn’t stand them, Prague and and Rio in particular.

What city is going to let you blast racing cars near old monuments (Praguep), cliff edges with wire barriers and sand all over the track (Dubai), snow (Bernese Alps), tram tracks, gutters and the total mess that is Rio.

I can stomach Maple Leaf as much as I’m no fan of fantasy tracks. If they’re going to do them though, make them appear realistically possible.

Who cares if this could be real world events?

  • you know this is a game, right?
  • I found those tracks the most immersive in FM7

Without such eye candy with beautyful sceneries there is just grass on side of track and fences and such.

  • what a bore

If the next 8 tracks to be revealed does not have at least 4 of that kind I think I will pass on next FM.

These strict race circuits reminds me of child hood having just an 8-shaped kind of track for Revell or Scalectrix or what they were. Electric race cars and such.

The potential is great with these video games, why not use it and bring beauty into the scene.

Rally games are more interesting in this sense. Always beautyful sceneries too from all around the world. This uses potential of the incredible consoles we have today, big screens and such.

Yeah, but I’m talking modern asphalt circuit racing.

Not rally, dakar and whatever else.

Sand, as in the section on the fantasy track where there is sand all over the road.

In Prague you drive over some monumental bridge and literally through some other thing, which either wouldn’t happen IRL ot would be properly protected.
