Add tire profiles and rally kit options to more "non-rally/off-road" cars

S19 (Horizon Midnights) is a great update that adds a variety of upgrades.
However, there is a common problem with these upgrades.
That is that they are all “only available for vehicles belonging to the off-road or rally category”.
Yes, of course these upgrades are inherently for these vehicles and should be added as a top priority.

But Forza Horizon is a game where almost every car has various upgrade possibilities.
We can turn an F-450 into a drift car, or an Lambo or Ferrari into an off-road monster.

If rally kits were available for more cars that did not belong to rally, we would be able to showcase our favorite cars not only in performance but also in appearance as more rally car-like cars.

And that goes for tire profiles as well.
A Miata with a Rocket Bunny widebody kit and huge off-road tires would definitely make it a cool apocalypse monster.

And the fact that this upgrade can be configured separately for the front and rear tires, and is available in all tire compounds, indicates that this upgrade could be used for more than just off-road applications.

Imagine, for example, a muscle car with more massive tires on the rear wheels. It would be able to impress with a better drag style look than what we currently have.

Adding these upgrades to more cars would take a lot of time and effort.
So I’m not saying right now. Could you add them sometime in a future update?

It would definitely give more users great visual upgrades and make us smile.

I agree. Taking things out of their expected categories is fun, and I was quite surprised to see the profile options were limited to such a short list.

I would also like to add that it would be nice to reduce/shrink tire profile too. The size of a tire’s sidewall really affects the aesthetic of the whole car. So when you have a rim size you really like but the tire sidewall is 2" too large, it really affects the entire look. Especially with “tiny wheels” on jdm cars, the sidewall for that size is just a little too big and throws off the look.

I love the added tire sizes. Putting bigger tires on the bronco is cool! But make tire options available for all cars please! I hate not having the vintage tire or certain tire styles not available on all cars. Ex: Make the Goodyear eagles available to all cars. Thank you!

At the very least the Rods and Customs category would benefit immensely from larger tire options, my '32 Ford doesn’t look quite right without massive rear tires.

WE NEED TIRE PROFILE SIZE ON ALL VEHICLES!!!

It seems the Classic Muscle Cars added as Part of Series 27 are starting to experiment with this a bit.

So far the Plymouth Belvedere, '68 Firebird and the '66 Chevy Nova all get Rear Tire Profile Upgrades which give them a bit more of a dragster appearance.

I’m expecting the Lincoln Continental and Pontiac GTO to also get them at this rate.

Hopefully this is a sign of things to come with PGG experimenting with the Tire Profile Upgrades a bit more and maybe even doing some retroactive additions to older muscle cars.

Added again for the 03 Cobra Mustang but not the 67 Shelby GT500. Really weird they select one or two cars instead of all for during series 32

I would also want to see the addition of the tire profile in 3 levels on all 4 wheels, for all of the FH5 cars that in real life are said to be homologation cars for WRC top tier rally car classes, with the likes of 1973 BMW 2002 Turbo, 1970 Fiat 124, 1977 Ford Escort RS1800 MKII, 1970 Renault 8 Gordini, 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z, 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS under the Group 4 Specs; 1983 Audi Sport Quattro, 1986 Lancia Delta S4, 1986 MG Metro 6R4, 1980 Renault 5 Turbo and Citroen BX4TC under Group B; 1992 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST-185, 1991 BMW M3, 1992 Ford Escort RS Cosworth, 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evo, 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B STi, 1999 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI GSR under both Group A and post-1997 World Rally Car Specs.

im gonna include “reducing wheel diameter” in here too. this is an aboslute must. a bunch of cars come with 19" or more wheels but when in motorsport they run much smaller 16" or even lower wheel sized.

heres an example from a holden road car vs its V8 supercar(?):

While we are here, let us REDUCE wheel and tyre width too. do you know how skinny wheels are on rally cars for gravel?

and of course, drag cars also use thinner tyres on non-driven wheels (front for RWD, rear for FWD) to reduce rolling resistance and so on:

why are these restrictions even in place? I dont get why we dont have them already

I would like to change the tyre profile size on the Mercedes 280SL so it would be close to being a replica of ‘The Excellent’ from The Grand Tour

I agree. personally i also would want to change tire profile size for a bunch of rally cars in my FH5 garage, including the likes of the Fiat 131 Abarth, Mitsubishi Galant VR-4, Lancia Delta HF Integrale, Renault 5 Turbo, Toyota Celica ST-185, Mazda 323 GTR, Nissan Pulsar GTI-R, Nissan Fairlady Z 432 '69, Ford Escort RS Cosworth etc. so i can perfectly recreate their proper WRC gravel specs. For instance, the Renault 5 Turbo under the 1985 “Maxi” version from top tier Group B rally, have all 4 wheels with 15" rim size, and the same tire profile size and width under gravel compound, with the tire profile size itself almost reaching the exact limit size of the car’s fenders.

as for the 1992 original Ford Escort RS Cosworth, besides the addition of tire profile size options, i also want 2 other features on the car’s upgrades to be fixed:

  • First, i want the front track width upgrade reajusted to bring the front wheels perfectly inline with the front fenders, since level 1 of the rear track width already has that perfect line with the rear fenders;
  • Second, i need a rework in the ride height tuning for rally springs and dampers so i can set the Escort’s ride height to 22 cm in both front and rear of the car.
