Accessible Weather Information For Visually Impaired/Blind Players Related To Rain And Dry

With the announcement in last weeks article about the new features for in race weather and the customization of that for off-line and private multiplayer I wanted to suggest something as at least currently with variable whether it has been an issue. If you are a blind or visually impaired player like myself, you have no idea that the weather is changing especially rain which is the most important thing until the track is wet and you’re sliding through corners and crashing on slick tires. It would be nice to incorporate something into this to go along with the more advanced weather system , that tells me with some auditory saying whether it be through the engineer, narrator or maybe some sort of description like it does for pre-race that the weather is changing specifically with any form of rain. Going into turn one on the Daytona Road course and spinning out because you didn’t know it started raining is not fun.
Just as well, I would also like to know when it is raining when it’s stopping raining and the track is still wet, and then when the track is starting to dry out, basically I’d like fluid weather information to be accessible for someone like me so that I can still stay competitive and not crash, or have time to be able to go and pit for the proper tires, especially when I’m racing with friends in private multiplayer. These conditions are important and should be made accessible, especially with the new amount of customization coming to the game for weather specifically.

Could have the “one more lap” lady say when the weather is changing, and also when you should switch tyres.

And that would benefit all players. Last time I did a variable weather race (against my will, it was a career race) I found out that switching to wet tyres when it’s starting to rain is wrong. The game won’t tell or teach you when the right time is, it will only beat you up and steal your lunch money if you get it wrong.

Some sound for rain and sliders to control how much, both on the car roof and surrounding road, splashes too could be good. Windscreen wipers noise also.

I am completely blind, and road conditions would benefit me greatly. That being said, I have the environmental sounds turned up as well as tire sounds. I can tell when the road gets wet based on the sound of the tires, and the rainfall itself, still it would be nice to have additional feedback for when it is picking up in intensity.
