So I’m back with feedback since playing a few days (12 hours a day) on early release on my time off from work. First up: Weather
Right, so the weather system is great in unison with the tire rubbering. Game feels much more realistic on track, the cars turn-response is better, car’s weights feel more realistic compared to fm7, reflecting a better experience when I’m actually on the track in real life. The weather changes are smooth. The lighting effects for weather are excellent. The weather dynamics generally just work excellent with what the physics mechanics bring to the game.
Suggestions time:

The frequency of rain in the “Weather - random” setting comes up like over half the time. To me, it seems rain default comes up way too often. Very minor complaint, but it seems like there should be a way to tune the percentage or “chance for rain” whenever we pick the “Variable” option. Combining the chance for rain, and being able to tune the intensity of that rain in the variable setting would make the realism even better because then we would have no idea what that chance would be.
And maybe even - as we increase lap counts, the chance becomes slightly greater to rain, or not at all. True randomness is how weather should feel, to me at least. -
Weather sounds are almost perfect. The only one tiny thing I spotted was: in driver cam (inside the car) the thunder volume was the same (from what I could tell) as outside the car. (I don’t know if this is supposed to be in Audio forum topic.)

Time progression: It seems a little bit fast sometimes, but this truly really isn’t something to complain about. I guess with the perfect setup, we could also be able to tune the time progression to slow down, and in combination with the chance of rain, it would impact that chance of rain.
Weather = 9/10 rating imo (not sure who cares about my rating)
