However basic the old MS wireless FFB wheel was, a wheel with an ‘optimised bungee cord mechanism’ certainly doesn’t blow it away.
Haha! I agree lol.
Looking at some of the early reviews…this wheel doesn’t appear to have FFB which the old MS wheel did indeed have.
which wheel would u get if u had 150 dollars to spend for xbox360. I could use the help. I use manual with clutch and no assist. Thanks
As mentioned above, the Fanatec wheel for xb360 (I think it is called the Forza 4 CSR wheel) is really solid but expensive. I think the wheel was $250 and the pedal set was another $150. Since I was also buying a Playseat Evolution ($350) I knew that my wife would absolutely kill me if I also spent another $400 on a wheel so I went for the original Microsoft FFB wireless wheel (which I think was going for about $149 at the time). It served me well and still works, but I did end up taking it apart and doing a few mods to strengthen it ( I can remember doing the steering wheel bearing mod and a mod on the buttons because one would always ‘stick’)
Check and see if you can find a used Fanatec for a good deal but at that price range, I’m not sure. I know you can find a used Microsoft wheel in that range but understand that you might have to ‘doctor on it’ a bit. Read up on the wheel bearing mod and see if you think you are mechanically-inclined enough to do it.
Mad Catz also made a 360 wheel but I have no experience with them.
Used Fanatec great wheel that is bullet proof
