Good observation - it’s the sound recording and reproduction method they’ve used. It causes all cars to sound loopy, robotic and synthesized in the higher rev ranges, especially as you slowly climb those revs in top gear.
The sounds were fine in FM7 - they just needed to add the right bass levels, midrange, and audio dynamic range across the respective rev ranges for each car.
The audio mastering is not impressive at all. This is exactly what happens when you cut corners. The cars in Drive Club sound the same: loopy, echoey and synthesized.
I would love to get Forza 7! But they have locked it in a vault everywhere I have looked. It’s a myth! A legend! A Ghost Game! It would be super cool to find a copy and get to play.
This F game my god, so I just finished track exotics, i have 3 cups under track tour and I was getting an error regarding remote data not available when trying to do prototype power event and then I was looking at google someone said restart the game so i did and i come back to track exotics reset i don’t feel like doing it again and i also had a green medal not a gold cup considering i won the event this game seriously
Motorsport dies with this game, it was almost dead after 7 which is why they announced they would continue working on it and not on the sequel as usual. I think they lost a ton of money on forza 7 which is also why i think it took so long to release on gamepass.
Unfortunately my opinion is Turn 10s employees that are still useful to plaground will be shuffled over to them and the rest will go back to whatever games they used to make that didnt have cars in them.
What you say is true but unfortunately this was the game they were supposed to do all that stuff and they didnt. I enjoyed the originals as well but theyre not coming back. This is forza motorsport now and it sucks.
This thing (can’t call it a game) is an early stage playable BETA version. I’ve said to myself earlier: no more preorders or purchases. Only after testing out. I’ve learned that lesson with Forzas and Flight Simulator. And what a right decission it was to resist the hype and lie comming from developers…
And I’m seriourly thinking that my next console will be Playstation.
I didnt preorder until i saw pre launch reviews by youtubers and they were all like “this games great, amazing, best in the series” and so either theyve all managed to obtain some frontal lobe damage or they all lied through their teeth knowing that if they said anything bad they would never get another pre launch review copy. Its like how ign never gives a triple a studio less than an 8 for the same reason
Even those reviews weren’t what I have come to expect from pre-launch extended previews. When the across-the-board reaction to your key feature is “Why have you done this?”, that should be a sign that you messed up badly.
I’ll be honest. After a long break from racing games I was super hyped about fm. Got game pass with premium add-on. I played for two weeks ( almost exclusively multiplayer ) and just got bored but… that itch for racing was still there. So I picked up ACC with all the add ons and couldn’t be more happy with my choice. Forza the most advanced racing game ever ? Yeah right
Steam charts dont mean much for xbox games. Its pretty consistently been in the most popular xbox games category since release 2 years ago. How many players exactly i dont know but apparently enough to stay in that category. Im not a fan myself and havent played in quite awhile but im not their target audience.
It certainly has its issues as well and i dont personally like the direction its gone in but when it comes down to it on almost every level its better than any of its competitors. Its a solid game all around and thats why people still play it.
I have had 3 friends so far stop playing the game based solely on the leveling system. I’m so disappointed with this. I expect this for Horizon but not the flagship series. I hope they eliminate the Car Points or heavily revise it.

I havent stopped specifically because of that but Im certainly not playing around with the cars I might usually do because I know the system is going to change. So Im not going to spend a bunch of time on it now to have it change again later.
My main reason for not playing is that the MP isnt actually as clean and good as youtubers have it out to be. Or im just much much less lucky. And the SP content is barren and pathetic.
The main youtuber I follow made today a video about how dirty forza MP is. He showed a race where he was racing with someone behind and then in the youtube rearview mirror you can see an idiot ramming him from a side.
If T10 does not do anything about I will eventually quit, that is for sure.
