What do you do when you have an excess of credits and have purchased all the cars you wanted? Are they useful at all at that point? Will they roll over to Forza 6?
Doubt very very very much they’ll be carried over.
The whole credits thing on FM5 is a pointless exercise. On previous editions, you could save them for the AH.
I’ve got 54,000,000 credits, with nothing to spend them on. I know of people with much more than that.
With any luck, if there’s no AH on FM6, credits will be gotten rid of completely. The whole concept of an “in-game economy” in a Forza without storefronts and auction houses is nothing other than a good joke.
I logged in the other day and thought I had 10 million credits. I must have misread because now I have over 100 million. Spend ur left over credits downloading other people’s tunes and experimenting with them
270,000,000 collecting dust here…wish they could be transferred over to forza 6.
I suppose it’s a tad disappointing that credits become essentially useless and non-transferable. I may go back to Forza 4 and the auction house. I “upgraded” to 5 when I still had tens of millions of credits, but at least I could buy things from the community.
100,000,000+ with nothing to use it for. I suppose that’s to be expected though as much as I play the game.
buy the most expensive car as often as you can and than remove it from your garage…the only thing i know so far to get rid of the credits
back in the great days of FM 2-4 these credits were a big help for starters or friends, rewards for any kind of comps…
now they are totaly wasted…
Yup 66 000 000 going to waste here too.
Just keep the money in the dust. If you have nothing to buy, then you have gotten “true” 100 percent completion in my eyes.
I’ve got nothing left to buy, and haven’t even done a quarter of career.
120M so far . . .
I was ecstatic the day I had saved up enough credits to buy the Ferrari GTO . . . the first drive “felt” magical . . .
Then came the in-game-credit snowfall . . .
Now any new purchase is a lukewarm “meh”
Just buy some expensive cars and then remove them from your garage your problem is solved.
That’s not really the problem solved.
Only joking like you said Cr are redundant in this game no point in having them, personally i’m one of those who likes it nice and easy to get credits
from the start so i can just build cars i do understand that some people like the grind though.
Well, I just started on FM5, so no big credits here. But perhaps you could start a new competition - a “private” leaderboard for the Billionaires of the Forza Empire. First see who’s got the most and second who can make the most in a given time. The more you’ve got, the higher your “riches ranking”. No other purpose for the credits I can think of.
I just started FM5 yesterday (only 2 races done), so i don’t have too much money yet. It does sound worrying though, if it is too easy to get money.
I am noticing something like that on Horizon 2, i have won 6 championships (so only starting there too), but i already have loads of cars and money to buy many more.
I guess it is good for people who don’t have time to play much, but maybe the money rewards could be scaled somehow in the settings. So, you could make it harder to get money if you wanted to.
I understand completely Hobo, everyone plays differently. My point is there is no point in credits with the current “economy”. You need to grind it out for the first few cars, then you have more credits than you know what to do with.
I personally think that without a AH or SF, there is no place for credits in Forza.
I guess what I really truly want is an auction house. I’ve even considered going back to Forza 4 because I spent as much time buying cars as I did racing. It was fun to buy different cars with different tuning and paint jobs that I could never afford in real life. Kinda the point of the game to me.
