can someone please explain to me why the devs decided to make this new car right hand drive? it’s not like it’s an English car. if we were still in FH4 i could understand this, but all of my internet image searches for this car show it as left hand drive. is this an oversight or mistake on the dev’s part or is there some hidden reason why they chose to do this? not like it really matters as it doesn’t bother me, it just left me wondering what their motivation to do this was.

PGG is based in the UK so that’s probably all they had to work with.

The only one they could procure was RHD
This isn’t he first and last car that’s not from the UK, yet is RHD

There are 207 cars in the game that are listed as Australian, British or Japanese. Of these, 98 have left-hand drive models.

The BAC Mono, Speedtail '19, McLaren F1, Peel P50 and #1 Toyota T100 are neither left- nor right-hand drive. A few are one-seater but are clearly set towards one side but I don’t think any of those ones are “left-hand drive”.
I believe the RHD GT4 RS was the one they could procure for scanning and modeling. Nothing wrong with RHDs, except they got the front bumper wrong. The canards and the front splitter/bumper are of the standard 718 GT4. For some reason, we can’t paint the carbon hood whereas a ful carbon-bodied car like the Veyron SS can be? Strange!
So it’s not as if it’s just an issue for cars that “should” be left-hand drive. Over 10% of the cars in the game are left-hand drive though listed as being from “right-hand drive” countries.
Why though?
If the model they scanned came from Porsche of GB, it’ll be RHD, the car is still 99% the same though

Most rhd cars are ported from fh4, but this one is new…, I suppose the only one they had available was rhd
