Hullo!
Just wondering, who plans to take part, and what do you plan to do it in? I intend to use the Audi IMSA 90 GTO. It’s a stunning car and the turbo sound will keep me amused for the 2 hours of racing. That and it drives beautifully. xD
Also, not sure if it’s suitable, but feel free to use this thread as a tips, help, ideas and chat section if you please. 
You’re assuming it’s going to be P Class, I was thinking it might be in the A or S class. Something similar to GT3 cars.
I’m not assuming any class, but what I feel comfortable driving in for 2 hours straight. 
Seeing as it has gone live now, any idea how it’s set up?
Wish they would have given details on this event, such as game settings and classes. I usually stick to the low C and B classes as I find them very competitive. So I’ll have to spend a couple hours tuning a car for this race that I expect to get demolished in… Controller cant compete with a wheel in these types of races.
I cant find this hopper… Any ideas?

If it’s a Hopper, I don’t really want to race with a load of random people, but rather on my own or with people I trust not to ram me off the road, know what I mean? I’d happily give it a whirl with yous if you were up for it, and, that is, providing someone is able to start it, lol
Whenever it gets up, I plan on figuring out the rules and running it later today with a trusted group. Turn 10 communication has been poor lately. only reason I knew of this was from word of mouth and that achievement. How hard is it to spend 10 minutes and give a little information?
RDO if simulation is on, I worry about the first and second turn.

Same here, I heard it through my father and his mate.
pull off to the side at the start and let everybody go. let them do the wrecking without you. you cant win it on the 1st lap but you could lose it. in 2.4 hours the 5-10 seconds it take to let everybody go isn’t going to be the difference in a finishing position. i expect miles to separate the positions and no car does 600 mph on a track.
Yeah I feel like most people will try to hit you off the road to try and win
The corresponding challenge is already live but the race itself isn’t. Can’t find it anywhere and usually Hopper events are right there at the start, under Monthly, after you select Multiplayer.

Edit: it’s live, and half of the lobby will race GT2 cars (class R) and the other half, prototype cars (class P).
I try to race clean lol I even try to warn you which side I’m on and or which racing line I’m taking … Buuuuut most people don’t listen lol I’ve been looking forward to this I love endurance racing
