And my roommate already bought and installed it. So now I can’t get the bonus cars, I can’t get the accelerated bonus points, basically, a large part of the fun of the game is just gone for me.
Let me be perfectly clear: I AM WILLING TO BUY MY OWN COPY OF THE VIP PASS. But Turn 10 and MS don’t have it set up so that the add-ons are attached to a gamer; they’ve got it set up to attach to a machine.
So until this gets sorted I’m not going to bother playing Forza 5, which is a shame, because I was really digging it up until this point. It kinda wrecks the experience, guys.
Yeah, I already responded in the other thread, but that didn’t work. I guess Turn 10 doesn’t really want me to play the game. I can’t understand why they would do this. I mean, aren’t there plenty of families with multiple users playing the same game? How is it fair for just one user in a household to have the DLC and VIP benefits?
Maybe you could try XBox Live support chat. It does seem that if you’ve got multiple big gamers XBox and T0 would want to sell you what you want and help you make it work.
We have 3 racers, I’ve bought everything, they get to buy DLC cars but only get the regular gifts, not the VIP or Car Pack gifts. They’re not that into it as to want the VIP credit boost or gift cars anyway.
Xbox live support is practically useless. When I initially liked my Gamertag to this forum I accidentally used my current email address instead of the one linked to my live account. So it made a new gamer tag. Long story short(ER) I called support to try to get my current email linked to my tag and delete the other tag that was created and after about 4 months and about 6 or 7 hour+ long conversations with live support and the prob is still not resolved.
