dont troll honestly . ymtv host great events and do really good commentary on each race .
You say that like everyone knows who that is. Spectator mode would be nice as others say and it’s a big reason why I don’t do lobby races mostly. Who wants to stick around in a lobby for a race that’s nowhere near done.

Doesn’t surprise me. The FRC finals had maybe what, 1-2 thousand viewers at its peak? Meanwhile other eSports tournaments get tens to hundreds of thousands of viewers regularly. Nobody is interested in eSports for racing games, especially a simcade like Forza. You might as well just watch a real race on TV.
Forza 7 won’t get spectate mode. If T10 wanted it in the game they would’ve added it by now. There probably won’t be a FRC for FM7 either. When you think about how much effort they put in to the last one and how little attention it got, it’s pretty obvious.

Didn’t they just announce in the latest WIR that FRC will be returning early next year?
Having said that, I do agree, though. I feel like iRacing and its ilk kinda have the market cornered when it comes to racing and eSports, and FM just doesn’t have that kind of following. Not even sure if GT does.

Just went and looked and you are right. Here is the quote: “In early 2018, the Forza Racing Championship will return, supported by brand new esports, online racing, and spectating features in the game that have been designed competitive play to the next level. Look for more details about the return of the ForzaRC in the coming weeks.”
So I guess they’re waiting until FRC to add in spectate mode? That makes literally no sense.

Sounds about right.
The entire release of this game hasn’t made sense. This is just adding another example to the pot. Worst Forza release ever with fundamental flaws that affect all gamer styles. The ultimate sandbox it is not.

Someone had to have nuked a repo. Someone has to be blacklisted from the industry. (IMO). Nothing else makes sense in relation to this.

Such a shame. I’ve heard of several communities now dropping back to FM6 due to the serious short comings of this edition.
Makes you wonder if T10/Microsoft are bothered about the core players, or whether they are just after the initial payment we make for the game and don’t care whether we hang around to play it.

I’m not surprised, an esports organisation cannot provide a strong competitive environment or an entertaining product if fundamental features are absent. Forza Motorsport 6 has those features which makes it the better title for what they are trying to do.
Once Forza Motorsport 7 is complete they’ll return and make use of Homologation and the increased car/track roster but for now they’ve made the right decision as an organisation. Forza Motorsport 7 is not yet ready for esports and won’t be until a number of features and tools are added.

FM7 will have spectate mode before the next iteration of FRC i think march next year? Some of you guys really need to carry a box of tissues around with you.

I think it’s fair to be a bit upset over not getting a fundamental feature in Forza until half a year after the game’s launch. Fora 5 got spectate mode after about a month and Forza 6 had it on launch day. I know it’s not a particularly important feature but it speaks to the overall mindset of Turn 10 towards this game.
