I’m wondering if the game runs better without the high Rez pack. I don’t wanna delete it and re-download it because it’s huge lol. Has anyone experimented to see if the game runs better without it? Does not using it reduce some of the Texture pop in?As we know the graphics are not great to begin with, and there is so much blur. I’m especially disappointed in the replays having all those camera effects and only being 30 FPS. I am very old and remember when racing games we were supposed to be graphical showcases. I do know a lot of the blur comes from the temporal antialiasing because you could see it in cyberpunk – you can see the car ghosting against the road when driving. I finally got the graphics looking good by using performance mode and setting brightness to near zero and HDR brightness to 4000. My TVs tone mapping seems to like it that way.
It won’t run any better. Quality mode is already native 4k 60 at all times. There’s nothing else to improve there. It might run at a slightly higher dynamic resolution in performance RT mode but that’s about it. Replays are locked to 30 so that also will not change. Game will just look worse because you have worse textures
Native 4k at 60? “Quality mode”? You sure about that matey?
I’ve never actually experienced the game without the HD track res pack. Just keep it and set your game to either Performance or Perf RT, depending on the level of reflections you want. PRT can be great but then the overall sharpness and consistency in quality (hellooo, no shimmering on cockpit parts or external rear body parts) is fantastic in Perf 4k. @Bitter_Kevin
In my testing across typical play, the performance mode’s internal resolution is at about 2160p (full 4K), the performance RT mode averaged around 1584p, and the visuals mode came out at 2160p typically.
Performance mode native 4k 60
Visual mode native 4k 30
I got the names mixed up but still 2/3 modes are native 4k already

aware there was such an option.
Ah I see thanks for Clearing that up
