[XBOX] Scrolling through cars, especially in lobbies, is painfully slow, since release

Normal Xbox One, physical disc of Forza 7, no external storage
Open NAT, ethernet cable (the shortest possible from the router 10 cm away)

I’m pretty sure there are many people with this issue:

Scrolling through cars to choose before a race online is painfully slow. PAINFULLY SLOW. It takes an average of 5 seconds to move from a car brand to the other. Now imagine selecting the specific car
model, if I have to go very low.
The fact that we only have A FEW SECONDS between races, to change car, change setup, change driving aids, report bad behavior, vote to kick, mute some players etc…is not helping at all.
And the fact that the new 3d background has to load. It can take up to 20 seconds.
Many times if I scroll through cars and the 3d background is changing, I’m thrown out of the lobby instantly.

I can barely do 1 or 2 races per day.

The car selection is also slow in our own garage offline (with all the custom liveries applied to our cars)

The car selection is NOT slow in the dealership offline. AT ALL.
That might help to understand the nature of the issue.

Please fix it, I’m in this situation since Forza 7 came out. It’s just getting worse.

I’ve got the same problem online as well. I thought it got a little better after the very first patch, but it still is painfully slow trying to get to a car…and having to have a car collection makes it worse as I have to scroll through what I consider junk cars to get to what I want. It’s not disconnecting me though. Offline is better, but it is still slow in my opinion.

This with all the other bugs and poor lobby track rotation/lap counts has gotten me to the point where I just don’t play it. Had good potential, but clearly there was not enough development time get it right. The lobby track rotations and lap counts I know they can fix…why they won’t is beyond me.

Honestly, this kinda sums up my feelings on Forza 7 so far…

Before that at 49:25, the game black screens on him…and before that at 39:14 game black screened…needs to be a wake up call for the T10 team. Don’t worry about silly dancing drivers with 10,000 different outfits and deliver us a solid performing racing game where the focus is the CARS.

MULTIPLAYER
Improved performance when navigating car manufacturer screens from multiplayer lobbies.

Sorry Turn 10, The game update 1.119.6406 of last night DIDN’T FIX these two problems…

Did you try a hard reset after the update. Properly with the power cord out and everything?

Why you should do it, and how? Im asking because im fairly new xbox user.

To clear the cache.

But it’s useless for this issue.

Yes of course. Unplugged from the console, unplugged from the socket, left like this for 10 minutes.
Fired up Forza 7, joined a lobby, still the same.
And once again, as I’m typing right now, I was selecting a car while other people were in a race and I just got kicked out from the lobby again.

So did this request go into the trash bin like the rest of the other threads?

Someone in the Forza 7 discussion section wrote about the same issue https://forums.forza.net/turn10_postsm877648_Multiplayer-menu-has-gotten-worse-since-the-update.aspx#post_877648

Painfully slow car selection, black screen, crash to the hopper selection and “disconnected from lobby” message. This is 99% of my online “experience” since the latest 1 or 2 updates.

Additonaly, this glitch here is absolutely hilarious in a tragic way

Poor fella had full control over his car, but his race camera was stuck on someone else’s car
