Experienced some weird online hopper lobby behaviour last night after the update… After nearly every race this was my post race lobby screen after clicking past all the other post race screens. C class hopper lobby. I had to blindly choose car select and then back out of that in order to see the normal lobby screen.
Also finding the car selection very slow still, and why on earth do I have to filter my car search every single time. Can we not have the filter persist unless changed? There is so little time in between races already, having to choose sort by class and then select the class and then filter each time wastes precious seconds, so I can see all my C class cars in one column, rather than the default sort by manufacturer (which is not very useful).
I’m experiencing exactly the same as you. Only started to get this after the update we just had.
Also racing today and had to mute a player due to his very noisy background noise. Then the game auto un-mute’s him leaving me to carry on the race not being able to hear my own car because of his louder background noise.
So between races I eventually get to mute him again, start race, set off, can’t hear a thing again but his noise. 3 races I tried this. I ended up leaving the lobby.
Never had this issue before this latest update.
The camera zooming into the the UI/player’s car is something that we are currently looking into. The camera should return to normal once the game transitions to the on track pre-race lobby.
Same here with this bug… and something new as well when selecting tunes, a pop-up shows “transaction most be complete”… ok, i complete it but it kerps me out of the race and game crashes… why?
please fix this!!
incredibly frustrating when playing online and can’t see what the next track will be until maybe 30 seconds intermission time left. then the choose car screens are so sluggish or unresponsive. sometimes the screen just goes completely black for several seconds. not enough time to find the car you want for the next race.

Only happens in Hoppers, I can do league races one after the other without issues, but in hoppers I can only do one race then the lobby glitches.
I noticed that spinning loading icon is next to my name and doesn’t go away even after everyone had loaded and are on the track.
Usually I load very quick since the game is on a SSD, but when it glitches it shows the loading icon but if I look at the process in windows Forza 7 isn’t using the SSD at all so nothing is actually being loaded.
I wouldn’t mind reinstalling if I had some sort of certainty that it would fix the game.

Just adding my experience to this one, the car spawning/zooming issue happens in the A-lobbies as well - only when it transitions it turns into a black screen half the time and then nothing happens. Doesn’t crash to desktop as I can still see and move my mouse but it never loads after the black screen. Sometimes i can actually back out when it does the black screen, it will kick me back to the hopper selection and the road surface will be a gray mass.

Also have same issue as GentleTyphoon, following latest patch.
The lobby loads back in following a race, assets are loaded drawn on top of the menu system before the new track is loaded.
Following this, when the track loads the screen drops to black, I can hear the menu system moving using d-pad or keyboard, following this, it will freeze and I have to alt-tab out to desktop and close.

As of yesterday, I had to reinstall Forza 7. After every MP race, I would get the car orgy blocking the menu, then when the screen would turn black while the track is changing, the game would crash to desktop. It was after every single multiplayer race. Reinstalling was the only way to stop it from crashing after every race. Xbox One S here.
I have the same problem as of latest patch. Loading screen between hopper races are cluttered with cars, loading takes forever. And god forbid if I have the time to change car, the screen will in 99% of the time go black, can hear the sounds of the track, can also hear ppl talking if they do, and also hear if I push any button on my controller or keyboard.
This thing has made the game some what unplayable since I only play online hoppers. Best case scenario I get to do 2 races before getting the black screen and having to alt tab out to close the game and restart it.
Plz fix you game Turn10. There has been so many problems since release of this game, and tbh I don’t feel you are taking your customers seriously as problems just keep coming up and you take for ever to fix them.
Please, I beg of you, [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] and fix your game, after all we have all payed money to play this game, and for the most part this game have been near unplayable.

If you scroll through the player list up and down it fixes the car pile up problem. I too have the black screen problem, it fixes itself usually after 20-30 seconds but is irritating cause you can’t choose your car.
12 days and still no answer or info about his bug with the screen full of cars and black screens that won’t go away and you have to alt tab and close the game manualy.
Why is there no info at all to this thread that supposedly is under investigation?
The ignorance of not saying anything just makes this worse tbh, fix the problem, we have payed loads of money to play this game, that has more problems than any other game I’ve ever played.
Sometime , I ve also infinite loading between race since last patch…
