Hi, considering the Xbox Series S/X are out, will Xbox one’s Forza Horizon 5 be a different version of the game than the Series S/X ?
Like for FH2 with the Xbox One being released a year ago (having more content than the 360’s FH2)
No cross-play between series and one consoles is already confirmed so they’ve gotta have the same content.

Hey team, i desperately want to pre order but i still have a xbox one and was wanting to know if anyone knows if there going to be different versions like horizon 2 was on 360 compared to one cheers guys

Nope same versions using the same servers…all cross play
Fh2 was released by 2 different developers and were completely separate games.
I doubt that, it’s cross platform but loading times will be horrible on the Original One and slightly better on the One X.

Don’t forget PC. I’m getting the PC version this time, if they want to push the game they can do it on the PC.
If you buy the digital version from the MS/Xbox Store, you should be able to play it on any supported platform, Xbox One, Xbox Series, or PC. And you should be able to freely move between those platforms. If you buy it on Steam, it’s not so clear. You might be locked to PC-only then. The cloud save file formats are apparently different between the MS Store and and Steam version for FH4. If you buy a physical disc, you will only be able to play on console platforms, although it is unclear if it will support both Xbox One and Xbox Series or not.
I never switch platforms anyway, too many people have lost all the files doing that.
