My orginal post got moved under a PC issue, THIS IS FOR XBOX ONE X not PC. This is my first post and Im not sure if this is the correct area but I am having some issues. I have been away from FH4 for almost a year and it worked fine before I stopped playing it. However, now no matter what I do (resetting the cache of the xbox, uninstalling and reinstalling) it will not load the game. It gets to the opening screen and I hit A and then just spins forever. I have seen where there has been several issues like this but no matter what I have done nothing has worked. The only other thing I can think of is deleting the save data as well but I dont want to lose my progress. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help anyone can provide.
Loading issues regardless of platform are tech issues which should be addressed via Forza Support. Please read through the Known Issues article, search keywords, and if you don’t find anything that resolves your situation, use the link at the bottom of an article to Submit a Ticket for the Support team to investigate.
I have submitted multiple tickets and their support page says nothing of this issue, hence why I posted here but thanks for the post.
Your profile ( game progress etc ) is duplicated on your xbox but the reference is on cloud so that you can just log to another xbox with your account and start the game with your profile ( given the sync goes well ) . As a consequence and being aware that the sync issue death screen can occur, you can totally wipe the game and game data from your xbox and see if a full reinstall fixes your issue.
Additionally, “no matter what I have done nothing has worked” does not push people to help you. You need to list what you have done so that forum members can detect you possibly missed an option.
Good luck
^ Syncing can take a long time (sometimes 30 minutes or more for me if I reset my Xbox to factory defaults), especially if your save data is 200-300 MB (photos, liveries, custom routes etc). Download speeds are reduced when a game is open so it can take a while to increase the progression. If it times out any remaining segments of save data will be downloaded the next time. As long as you do not switch out for new local save data, save data from the cloud eventually will be stored locally.
Agreed, last sync I did, going from 0 to 1% took 12mn … kind of a stress but ended well, not in a hurry to try again
