After yesterday’s update, my game crashes during the loading screens before putting me into the game world.
Installed on PC, when it loads my save game it does the same thing.
If I launch the game from a different profile, it doesn’t crash. Something about my save game is not allowing the game to load.
Also, it shows up as the demo on my Xbox… oh and Barn Finds never showed up for me.
Having same problems on my Xbox one x this game needs a lot of work they never should have released it
I created a ticket on the support site.
Really bummed that I can’t play anymore until they fix it.
All their going to tell you is to delete and reinstall. That doesn’t work either
I made sure to mention that I can launch the game if I load a separate profile so it’s nothing wrong with the file integrity.
I was in contact with their community support team as well and they’ll be looking into it. They mentioned it was likely a licensing issue.
Dang, everything was going so well for the first few hours, but after getting enough influence and switching to the winter season the game is now freezing at / after the load on a black screen for me, too.
There’s a hint of the progress circle and nothing else.

My mic was already disabled fwiw.
edit2: oof, started happening again as soon I as picked up the first barn find at the festival site and tried to get back into the game world with it. And trying to reset again did not work this time. Permanently broken during the load now.
Really hoping for an update soon. This is day 2 that I can’t play.
Same problem here, but in PC…
Id love an estimated time of repair.
