Hi there, just reporting some of the various game crash issues I have been having.

  • Product Version: Ultimate Edition (Digital)
  • Platform: Xbox One (Original)
  • Connection Type: Wired

So far I have experienced game crashes in multiple areas. I typically cannot do more than 3-5 races in a row without the game hard crashing:

  • Crashes after loading up a new track.
  • Crashes within the first few hundred metres of a race.
  • Crashes when joining a lobby.
  • Crashes when scrolling through Garage to select a car while in a lobby.
  • Crashes when loading a Tuning Setup.

I have not seen a predictable pattern to these crashes, or noticed any particular cars/Hoppers/tracks where crashes are more frequent.

I am sure the development team is already aware but I wanted to document this so that it’s on the record. Hopefully it will be addressed in the next update.

Same for the PC version, if I’m lucky I get 1 multiplayer race then a crash to desktop. The only reason I play Forza is for multiplayer and hotlapping and both are seriously lacking AND prone to crashing on both platforms. I’m not going to last much longer only playing the career mode against AI who randomly brake in my face, and who are terrible in one race then unbeatable the next on the same difficulty! I’m hopeful the crashing is sorted in the next update, one would assume it’s got to be number 1 on Turn 10’s list of priorities.

Following today’s update this is still an issue.

Nitro, I know you are suggesting a thread to post in but that thread appears to be for Windows 10 only, and not the Xbox One version.

Same issue for Xbox One Original, I don’t know how its affecting the Xbox One S though…

Unfortunately, no update here on the forum.

However, I did get an email from Forza support today (I emailed them the same day I posted this thread), asking for more detailed technical information (console OS version, install location etc.). I guess I can edit the title to say [Investigating] but I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes incase that’s not something regular users are allowed to do.
