I don’t really frequent this forum but if there is any input that can be provided by admin’s or other players with knowledge about enforcement that would be appreciated.
I’m trying to understand how the enforcement in for Froza works. Why is it that players and their friends can arbitrarily report you and bring down your rating regardless if warranted or not and you have to suffer consequences without recourse?
From what I’ve read is that MS is aware that their algorithm doesn’t work but I have no clue if they are going to correct the problem. Furthermore, I heard that some games have opted out of the rating system and are not subject to restrictions brought on by the MS rating system.
Does anyone have any insight if this is going to change and the rating system will be overhauled?
I’m afraid you have been misinformed. First of all, it takes more the a few players and their friends to trigger any action from the enforcement team. Second, no game can “opt out” of the rating system. It is a global system across all games on live.
I’m not misinformed. There are countless videos on youtube that talk and deal with this subject. The system is unfair an very one sided. Now reading up on it further it has nothing to do with the enforcement team and everything about how the reputation system works, so sorry about that confusion. I just wasn’t sure if games could opt out of the rating system, as I’ve read it is not standard across all games.
I had my rating dropped in 1 day from 18 reports on battlefield 4. The next day it was back to normal. As I understand it in order for your rating to stay low you need to have reports over a long period of time. This happened to a friend of mine they had about 6 to 10 reports a week which kept there rating at “avoid me”. The rating system is very easy to minipulate if you have enough willing friends
Exactly! Most of my time is spend in virus which like any game, if you are good you become a target especially when there are groups of friends playing. Just getting fed up with being stuck in purgatory.
Best advice is use an alternative account and change between the 2. Login on both accounts and spread your time evenly over both accounts. That should help your rating by limiting the amount of time people see you.
The reporting system and the sudsiquent match making or lack of it that is caused from your rep is a joke. If I have avoid me rep and I join the lobby then no 1 else can then join that lobby unless there rep is equal or lower. Thus killing the lobby as people leave. This happens more and more now as grievance start to grow between players. I really hope ms sort this out sooner rather than later as it causes problems and encourages bullying on mass scale
