Xbox Controller on PC

Does anyone know if the game supports wired Xbox one controller on PC or is it only wireless?

Of course it does, I’m playing Forza Motorsport 6: Apex with a wired Xbox One controller…

Apex also worked fine with a wired 360 controller. Really though the PC version should work with most gamepads.

Is there a certain way to play FH3 on a PC using an xbox controller?

I’m used to playing games with a controller at the moment, and I feel like playing racing games using a keyboard doesn’t feel right.

Do I have to connect a wire to the PC? Or buy a special remote? Is it even availible at all?

What type of controller do you have? For a Wireless Xbox 360 controller you will need an adapter. I bought mine on Amazon for $8. If you don’t mind having to unplug and replug the adapter into your PC than get the $8 one. If you want it to work flawlessly you should spend the extra money ($20 total) and get the official Microsoft one, I hear those work really well.

If you have a wired 360 controller it should be plug and play

Sorry for not being specific.

Personally, im asking about how to connect a standard Xbox One controller.

Info about the 360 controller helps for those who have a 360 controller though.

It depends on the controller you own. If you own the new Xbox One S controller model, you can connect through bluetooth.
If you own any controller that came before the Xbox One S controller, you simply buy this adapter.
If you own an Elite controller, there’s also a USB cable included which I believe also works, although (ofcourse) not wirelessly. More information here on how to connect a controller.

Alright thx

In short, any micro USB cable should work for an XB1 controller and Win10.
