so i am new here and i have a question regarding Forza Horizon 3,
if i pre-order forza horizon 3 on PC, does it require Xbox console?
i dont have Xbox console and i just want the game on PC

I would highly recommend the use of a 360/One controller, even when racing on PC. Keyboard just does not work.

yeah I use xbox 360 controller in my PC, but the problem is in Forza Motorsport Apex it only detects xbox one controller so I dont know about Horizon 3.
I use an X360 controller in Apex without any troubles and I don’t expect any troubles in FH3 either. It’s still a very popular controller and I’d bet it’s still supported.
not the only one facing this problem with the 360 controller, but i really hope so this will not gonna be an issue in FH3.
Oh, I don’t doubt that you have problems with your X360 controller, just saying that it works for me. It’s like a lot of the other Apex issues that have been reported, some people are having them and others aren’t. Personally, the only issue I had with Apex was a very slight and very occasional stutter.
I can’t afford a new controller on top of the game as well, so it had better be supported.
Just for curiousity, is your X360 controller wired or wireless when connecting to your PC? Mine’s wired and I was wondering if that made a difference.
actually i use xbox 360 controller emulator since i don’t own xbox console, maybe this is the issue in the first place 
I would agree that it’s highly likely that’s where your problem lies. It’s definitely worth you getting one of the proper controllers then. If the emulator doesn’t work with Apex then it’s highly unlikely to in FH3. Up to you though. 
i used another emulator and now the controller worked fine with me.
Does anyone know if it will be cross play, in other words, if I am playing on the PC will I be able to play with friends that are on the Xbox One? I have both but I would rather play it on the PC.
Yes, you will be able to play on PC with friends who are playing on the Xbox One.
