So I have played both Forza games with Forza Motorsports going back to the forth edition. This is the first time with Forza where I had so many problems that I demanded a refund. First I couldn’t play career mode because i got a message about my saved Data. Second it caused my console to shut down which lead me to have to reset my Xbox. After all that I couldn’t play the game because it said I wasnt signed in. Forza has been doing this too long to have so many problems. I haven’t had any problems with any other games or apps

So this is the Forza community? He was not being rude, He was sharing his experience. If you where in his situation you would have problems too. So many long term Forza fans having issues, why not try and help someone or atleast encourage them to come back later. This is my first Forza game and experience with its community, what i see is alot of loyal fans losing interest. (Dont be that Fanboy)
To the OP: I had a ton of problems just from the store, the bugs and stuff will get worked out. The store, yeah i dont know about that nightmare. I bet if you check back in a month, things will have improved. Dont leave a game franchise you love over aggravation during its launch week. Just keep an eye out, you may want to come back. I understand the aggravation, but it seems like T10 is still looking into things.

This so true. I’m sticking with the game because I think they will get it right. I just hope it doesn’t take too long.
BTW, I have played worse games at launch. Mass Effect Andromeda comes to mind. It took at least two months before the game was finally somewhat stable. I really loved the patch to the game that made all my previous saves unusable. (sarcasm)

I hope your wrong. I stuck it out with Mass Effect Andromeda for over 2 month and at least 5 patches. I think it was the 6th patch that finally made the game mostly playable.

yea i hear ya… im starting to wonder if microsoft deadlines are too much for t10 to handle…idk, just a thought, cuz the last 3 motorsport games seem to be unfinshed at release

Well, first off, I don’t see myself as a “fanboy”, just someone who is wholeheartedly passionate about cars, racing and how it’s represented in racing games. I enjoy playing anything that’s complete and polished off well, so apparently, it would appear Forza is not the only driving game in my collection.
Yes, I think they made have bit off way more and are now left with the monumental task of tying up loose ends. On the last three Motorsport games being ‘unfinished’ as you say, so that’s FM4, 5 and 6, I would have to flat out disagree. FM4 has been their BEST most complete work to date. FM5 was a technical marvel in terms of audio, visuals and physics on a new gen console, even though it was a bit short on content. The UI was a bit wonky but that was in no way game-breaking. FM6 is RICH in content and still offers great quality in terms of visual panache, unique and satisfying car audio, reasonably good physics for a Forza game, along with all the extras. So, at the moment, it is only FM7 that feels incomplete and rough around the edges. That’s bound to change I’m sure.
I’d also like to add that having Forza on three different platforms may not have been a good idea. I wish it had remained an Xbox One only exclusive and that MS and found other ways to better utilize the base model for future games. Turn 10 would have definitely had more time and energy to spare working on just ONE version. Well, that’s just my personal opinion though.
To be fair Forza is more a chase the rabbit and car collection game nowadays, don’t get me wrong at its core its fun alright well for me anyways but it can only claim to be a racing game by the skin of it teeth.

I’m fairly sure he meant the last 3 Forza games including 7. So FM5, 6 and 7. FM4 seems to be the peak of the series in my opinion.

I think it’s pretty obvious microsoft wanted this game on the shelves ready for the X1X release. Realistically, it could of done with another 6 months before release.
This game does seem to be more rough around the edges then in past. My assumption is that the game has been releases a little early to allow them time to fix some stuff before the launch of the scorpio. I dont think many things will be fixed though, only major bugs.

I still cannot download pc version from store … I do not have a download option … just that the code was redeemed …been onto support for the last 7 days.
Been an absolute waste of time … the xbox side is ok with the exception of a few issues .
I had planned on getting this game on PC, but after having issues with games on the Windows Store I knew to wait and see how it launched, which I usually do anyway.
I’ve had issues with Forza Horizon 3 and Gears of War 4 on PC, as did many others. Gears of War 4 still has issues on PC. So I’ll be waiting for this game to go on sale and for them to fix the problems with it.
And the RNG Loot box Microtransactions system makes me more uninterested in the game.
