Working lobby voice chat

The lobby voice chat in FM7 never worked very well. It always discontinued function after a while, at least for a few players in the lobby.

I play with a bigger group of players bon a regular basis. We can only use party if we are under 16 drivers. We are able to use Skype, and we will try out discord. But the easiest would be if the lobby chat from the game will work. Its also better for inviting new players, or when someone joins spontaneous.
Conversation is part of the online gaming fun for myself.

We tested Discord for voice chat, and i wanted to add that it’s not perfect as well. Players disconnect, some got echos or sound weird.

Good idea! But the lobbies would probably turn into the Xbox 360 era. People will be harassing each other. But I think to fix that one concern. Maybe when someone joins a lobby, they are automatically muted unless they are on your friends list. But if not, you have to unmute them. Interesting idea, if the devs do implement it. I wonder how it’ll work
