Hello fellow forza 5 users,
I’ve got some issues at the moment when I try to load the game. I get to the normal home screen where you have to press ‘A’ and I can’t get any further. The little spinning processing circle appears but nothing happens.
I’ve disconnected the xbox from my wireless network and reconnected it, I’ve turned my modem on and off, I’ve ejected the disc and cleaned it several times, I’ve signed out of my profile etc etc
All other xbox live features are operating as normal, it’s almost like it can’t connect to the Forza server or something?
Anyway, I’m out of ideas so and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Try resetting your console. Out of any games, hold the Big X button on the Xbox One until the system shuts down. Then disconnect the power cord from the wall, or at least the wall side of the power pack. Let it sit for about five minutes.
Then plug in the power. Start the console as you normally would. You will have a green screen for about 15-20 seconds as the system is checked, followed by booting normally to the dashboard. Sign into Xbox LIVE, then attempt to launch FM5. Give it time, you may be in the process of updating the game itself, so don’t expect to immediately start playing. Let the normal loading sequence take its time, but when you so the A button splash screen displayed to start the game, go for it.
If this process doesn’t help, contact Xbox Support to talk with a tech: http://support.xbox.com/

Followed your instructions exactly and now it’s working fine.
Thanks mate, much appreciated
I was having a similar problem, except my game wouldnt only load to the legal print screen, and then it would go black. Resetting my console did the trick. Thanks Snowowl!
