Forza 5 will not Start anymore - loading issue,,,,,!!!!!

Hello from Germany,

Sorry for my bad English but i need Help.
I play Forza 5 for a long Time without any Problems, but now it will not Start.
When i start the Game it will synchronize something and a view seconds later it says: loading issue - please try it later.
What can i do? I have the Limited Edition, over 5 Million Credits and a Lot of Cars and so on.
Brian or anyone else - please help! I will not loose my Carreer-Data, Cars and Ingame-Money.

Thanx a Lot

Same problem, I have googled it but there seems no resolution as yet. I have tried all the usual like hard shutdown, restart and unrecognising my profile from my console. If I uninstall the game and re install will I loose all credits, purchases and downloads?

Unplug the power brick from your xbox. Then wait a minute. Re-plug it and it should work. Had this issue with another game.

This has worked for me in other games. Although all you need to do is hold the power button in a few seconds for a “hard” reboot. I had a different game that didn’t start and I uninstalled/reinstalled over and over and nothing. I turned off the X1 fully and it was back to normal. This seems like a common fix anytime things get strange.

So, i fix the Problem.
Set the Xbox One to default.
Than Install Forza 5 again, Download the Updates.
After that all the complete Savegame is synchronizing from the Cloud.
You won’t loose your Savegame!
I am so happy;-)

Do you manually sync with cloud or is automatically done for you so you’ll never loose your game saves?

Unplug the console from the mains, re connect and…job done!

I just did a game update yesterday and now the game will not get past a certain point. I can pick my car, class and then when it should load the race, I get nothing. I’ve done the reset tricks and uninstall/reinstall. Any other tips or tricks? I’m getting so pissed and it’s the only game that does it. I would even reset to factory but I don’t want to lose my game saves.

it sounds like your disc is dirty or has a scratch.you gamedata is saved to the cloud,so reinstalling wont be a bad thing.

try cleaning it with a soft cloth, with extra attention at the scratch spot.the xbones seems to not like a coat of grime either.

times have changed. it no longer plays from the bluray, it plays from the hard drive, thats why you have to install it. the disk is only a drm check at this point. if it says syncing or anything other than “unreadableie disk” or “” its not a dirty or scatched disk. once the console knows what game is in the tray the disks job is done after the initial instal. its a glitch/software problem not a hardware problem.

and make sure your xbox is off before you pull the plug!!! unplugging an electrical device before turning it off is like kicking in your door then useing the key…yeah its open for sure but it may never work like its suposed to again, you can break it beyond repair. use the key 1st and chances are you aren’t going to have to kick it. unplugging is advice from help desks because they assume some people may not know if its really off. and they have reason. i got a call at work from the quest guy installing my internet, he said “somethings wrong, its like its not getting any power, you need to return the modem and router for different ones.” when i got home and was going to put the hardware back in the box…i noticed the modems power cord still in the box. there was indeed a reason it acted like it wasn’t getting any power. and that was quest’s “professional” installer. tech companies often hire people that dont know anymore than the people they are helping…they just read from a script. when their own “professional” dosn’t know if it really has power or not you can understand why they think lay people might not know for sure. good thing they were advertising free installation at the time because it was going to be free anyway since i had to hook it up and call in the mac address.

I have the same problem. I have uninstalled forza then re installed it again and also un-pluged it but none of these work does anyone have any other suggestions without deleting my progress??

try registering a new gamertag and see if it lets the new tag name play the game. if it does without signing the new name out sign the new name in and see if it lets you play, if it does sign the new name out, play a bit more, then reboot the system. the new name might over write what ever the glitch is.

Thanks it worked with another account so I have rebooted it.

Okay ive tried every method i could think of and only one worked for me. You may not like this idea but what i did was deleted my saved games on forza and now it works. I created a new profile and forza worked but when i tried my old profile, forza just would sit there loading and nothing would happened. So i figured its my saved games causing it to act up and it was. I have no idea why it does this but hopefully there is an update for this. Hope this helps someone!

The hard x1 shutdown worked! I had the same problem thx

Thanks. I just had to hard reboot.

The Forza 5 not restarting issue is caused by a discrepancy between the timezone set on the Xbox and the one reported by your IP.
