Winter Forzathon challenge, sports utility hero, cannot use this class tor ace?

I am trying to complete the weekly challenge and I need to win 3 cross country circuit events in the sports utility hero class. however when i enter any of these races i am forced to choose different cars that are not in this class. i own 3 that are suitable but cannt choose them.

is this a bug or am i doing something wrong?

Blue print it to correct class

Winner. That seems more complicated that it needed to be, but works now

I just won 2 Cross Country races and I’m still showing 0/3. Does it not register until you win 3?

I haven’t even looked at the seasonal events yet, but you need to make sure you are doing the same type of race as shown by icon under the event oval for circuit, or point to point. They are not interchangeable for this challenge, or any previous challenge.

Ok I will check tonight. I could only complete 2 races last night so I’ll see what happens tonight. I’m pretty sure I was definitely doing Cross Country raves but they were the Cross Country “Series”. Is that different than “Circuit”?

Cross country is cross country, but within each race type there are circuits and there are point to point. Circuits are designated with an oval in the icon. If the weekly requires a cross country, just look at the icon of the event in the weekly rewards, and select any cross country race location that has a matching icon.

The one you choose, may default to a different car class than what is required for the weekly challenge, in this instance, just create a blue print for that race, for the correct car class.

Just checked it out, there is no icon for weekly as they usually have for daily. But it says circuit so you need to do cross country with ovel icon, and you have to win them.

Thanks. I guess that was my problem. It wasn’t a circuit race. New to Forza so still learning

I too am having the same probelem. I’m using my Dodge Durango(Sports Utility Hero) and I keep placing 1st in Cross Country Circuits and it still says 0/3 in the challenge. I am picking Cross Country races that have “Circuit” in the name of the race. Is that not right?
