Will this get you DQ'd from FH3 FRC?

Instead of doing regular hotlapping you can go through the last checkpoint before the finish line, then back up to get more speed to start your next lap with. It is obvious some people are doing this on week #2 of ForzaRC. Is this a legal move or will it disqualify you for that week?

thought this was impossible du to invalid lap? was so in FM6 at least.

It is sort of iffy and it can invalidate your lap but most of the time it does not. There is a point where if you go back too far you will not be able to do it but still there is enough room to get maybe 15+mph more than you would regularly just lapping.

What you gain from it is one second off of your time before you even hit the first corner. Yeah they are circuits so wouldn’t it make sense to do laps, instead of doing 95% of a lap then stopping and going off the track to position yourself so you have better speed for only the next lap. I don’t want to argue whether it’s ethical or not though I just want some type of confirmation from higher ups whether or not this is legal in the competition.

If the lap doesn’t get flagged as invalid I don’t see a problem. The first two events have been circuits so I’m not sure what you gain from this.

Do a lap. Learn the course. Do another lap. Learn more about the course. Repeat. This is how you learn to do fast laps.

I see what you mean about wondering if you will be disqualified for doing this. On a circuit course I don’t see why you would but I could be wrong.

Sounds like an exploit that wasnt anticipated by T10.

It’s probably ok for now because it’ll be hard to regulate.

Sounds like the flags weren’t placed in the right area to eliminate runoff opportunities.
