Will my Season Pass cover the upcoming Porche/VIR expansion?

See the track here…

No, unless Turn 10 changes the arrangement. The Car Pass includes nothing more than what is stated, which is six packs of 7 cars each. We’ve already seen five packs, so one regular pack of 7 car remains.

Men that sucks… For as much as I love Forza, I think the Ultimate edition I got was a bit of a rip off. Of all those cars there’s maybe 4 that I kinda like… It would have been cheaper for me to just buy them separately.

The reason that VIR was added in with the Porsche Expansion is because for some reason it closely resembles the Porsche Test Track, which again for reasons unknown, only EA’s Real Racing 3 was allowed to have. It would have been nice if T10 made a deal with EA to have the Porsche Test Track included in the game along with the cars - now that would be RAD!!!1

Well, without meaning to sound rude to you - who’s responsibility is that ?
Nobody forced you to purchase anything.
I agree with you, the cars so far have largely been utterly disappointing for me so moving forward, I won’t buy this kind of pack again either.

I will get the Pork pack though.

They can be a real pig to drive;)

Sad to say it but that’s the downside of pre-buying these passes sight unseen as to what exactly they will contain.

I am super excited to see VIR coming in I hope it is available to run in hoppers! Being that the track is in my home State I am that much more excited. It is a crime in my mind though that I have never been there.

While I do think it is great with Porsche coming back from a standpoint of World racing being that races like LeMans and Daytona would feel incomplete w/o a major brand like Porsche being there. I probably will not need to have them but, if you have to get the Porsche Pack to get VIR then yes I am still in.

As others have said, No it will not. The contents of the season pass are as described when you bought it - 6 packs of 7 cars. Obviously, this means no tracks are included nor the Porsche pack.

Lol

Mind you, VIR very well could be a free add-on for all Forza Motorsport 6 owners, just as it were with the release of Road America, Long Beach, and Nurburgring in Forza Motorsport 5.

But it won’t be because $20 for 20 Porsches of which you drive maybe three or four regularly is less of a deal than 20 Porsches of which you drive maybe three or four regularly and a track you play a lot. The tracks in F5 were free because the game got a lot of complaints due to lack of content (specifically tracks). Had there not been the public outcry over the small number of tracks those free tracks would’ve been part of a track pass which leaked online for a short while on Xbox Live. Forza 6 has enough content so it won’t get free additions - even less so because every new track for F6 would be one less surprise for F7 and Turn 10 wants to have some new additions for that game as well.

Who knows. Maybe the car pass will be like the one in FM4, where if you had the car pass and bought the Porsche expansion in game, you got a discount on it.

I could see a discount being given to VIP members, maybe.

That’s a likely scenario; that they offer a discount for ultimate edition, but I’m ready to pay full price for 20 Porsches and a new track with 7 configurations and new events.

How many Ultimate edition copies have been sold? Car pass is $30 for 42 cars. VIP is $20 for 5 cars and special events. F&F cars are $10. That is a total of $60 in just additions to the full game.

No, your simple Car Pass is not enough cover the Porsche expansion pack.

I understand why it’s not included, But as a non avid gamer (anymore…) I don’t feel like spending another 20 dollars on a game that I’ve already spent 100 dollars on… Car pass should have covered it imo.

Its a 21 car + 1 track expansion
Car pass was for 6 monthly packs of 7 cars
Not sure why it should cover it …its not a season pass
It does state exactly what it includes when you buy it

Its less than the price of 3 car packs but the same amount of cars plus a new career mode.rivals. multiplayer and 10 more showcases
Worth than the 20 it costs
And its an option…you dont HAVE to buy it

This.

The value of the pack alone is worth more than the $20 they are charging. But you will always have the greedy sort who will never comprehend that.

Not really sure on that, I personally would rather spend $20 on say a new track, and a few from older Forza games retuned with graphical enhancements than 20 cars any day of the week. In matter how many cars the game has, the same tracks to me get old, and I stop playing it faster. And If Call of duty and all them crap games can come out with “map” DLC purchases Forza should and could be doing the same thing.
