gonna keep this short. love the game, feels great on the wheel. but i just feel like its missing something. when i first turn the wheel, i feel the resistance. once i go more than half way, it just dies off, with little resistance. wheel doesnt shake very hard going over steep slopes and hittin’ the pavement, just driving straight, etc.
then i put in project cars. going down a sharp angled downard turn, i am feeling all of it. the feedback is incredibly stronger, and more satisfying then forza 6.
basically, is t10 aware that the FFB is kind of lackluster? is this a common concern/complaint, or not really? am i alone here? forza trumps Pcars in every way except the strength of FFB and the sound sometimes
thrustmaster tx. deadzones set correctly on both games.
Because i had to turn mine down, i will tell you i am a PC sim racer and only bought Forza 6 because i am a fan of the franchise over all.
And the PC has very strong FFB but Forza 6 surpasses this big time, i started out on 100 and had to turn it down to 70 and imo its still redonkulously strong.
wow really? have you experienced pcars? unfortunately, all i have to go off of is pcars, fh 1 2, fm 5 6, and the crew. pcars is almost double the FFB on all of those games. i cant believe you had to turn yours down!
A friend of mine plays with a TX wheel and he is disappointed with the lack of feel. He has done firmware update checks. Resets and re calibrations and it still isnt giving him the feel he expected. I wonder if its to do with the non existent self centering on the steering? I find it unbelievable that its not there.
I agree with the Project Cars comment. Forza 6 doesn’t come close to the feel that Project Cars has. I love Forza 6 in every way except the feeling of the wheel and it’s configuration and the sounds. Btw, I only play in cockpit view…
Project cars ive played with my tx… Yes its different.Project cars the wheel is incredibly stiff as if there is no power steering.Wether that is realistic or not can be debated.I think ffb in forza is great.
