Why some of the vehicles from forza horizon 4 does not exist forza horizon 5?

Why some of the vehicles from forza horizon 4 does not exist forza horizon 5? Will these vehicles from forza horizon 4 never will be added to forza horizon 5 or will they be added as a patch or dlc in the future? I really want to see these vehicles such as RENAULT CLIO R.S. 16 CONCEPT, RENAULT CLIO RS 197, RENAULT SPORT CLIO V6, RENAULT MEGANE R.S. 250, RENAULT CLIO R.S. VIEW SOURCE (düzenlendi)

The official answer you would get: Because every car needs to be licensed anew for every game and priorities need to be made within a licensing budget.

The anwser you would get from the community here: They probably drip those cars into the game via the seasonal playlist instead of modelling new ones. And try to keep players playing the game to get them.

This is really it: Maybe they don’t license those old cars because that same automaker has a new fancier car they want to license and include… gotta have priorities in work or nothing gets done.

Reality is probably a little of column A and a little of column B.

They do also need to rebalance the cars, which does take at least some time, plus add any new physics or systems to it (new suspension, convertible roof or other dynamic elements)

It’s probably somewhere between conscious choices and licensing, but it almost (if not) always happens to some degree from one game to the next so you’d think people wouldn’t be shocked by it any more.

Excuse me!?! Does that look like a “crap box”?

In all honesty. The Renault Sport cars are great. Especially the ones the OP mentioned.

Reasons:

  1. Game design (although the FH car lists lack cohesion next to Pokémon lists for example)
  2. Licensing (Mitsubishi in FH4 was good example, they apparently didn’t renew the license in time)
  3. MOST IMPORTANT: Why release my full 900 cars (I think Forza as a whole has this amount already) when I can release 500 then force players to play my seasonals every week to keep player count steady?

Number 3 is putting me off racing games. The Crew, Gran Turismo, everyone has decided to do it.

Also, France is a hot hatch specialist. Renault Sport’s cars hold their own against anything Japan has produced.

I miss my Lancia Fulvia and Alfa QF & Stradale

Looks same as Hyundai, KIA, and a few others.

They serve a market segment, but they are basically food-delivery vessels

You simply don’t know what you are talking about!

Chris Harris: “If I had to take the essence of a car to my grave… it would be this one. (Clio RS 200 cup)”

There’s no need to be rude. It’s not like he’s asking for a Geo Metro, for crying outloud.

If the ~400 cars come as free content and provide incentive to continue playing the game then I don’t see a problem with it. Not to mention that having 900 cars at launch is a bit of overkill, considering the time and credits investment to upgrade and drive them all.

You could make the argument that some players will be locked out of the weekly rewards due to time constraints, but PG has been pretty good about making exclusive cars available multiple times.

Is this a trick question?

I would love a Geo Metro! Or better yet a Pontiac Firefly convertible. There is no car that would not at least be interesting on this game. And considering you can engine swap and drivetrain swap who knows what might end up being hilarious in an online race to dust a mclaren with.

I’d rather have the Geo Metro! Although I don’t have any particular prejudice against Renault.

Well, if we’re going to go there, why not Pinto? Chevette? Versailles? (Make you guys look up at least one…lol). I want the OTHER Fox platform car, The Fairmount Futura 2 door. How about Citation X-11?

Apparently, they did have the Pinto in Motorsport 4. One man’s crap box is another man’s treasure, I guess.

That’s just Lincoln’s version of the Ford Granada. Not nearly as crappy as the Cadillac Cimarron.
