Why is the difference between PC and Xbox version not being mentioned?

Cars behave completely different on PC than they do on Xbox.
Cars are faster on Xbox
Cars have more grip on Xbox
Cars handle better on Xbox

I can prove this if anyone is doubting it
No one has spoken about this and its very stupid. Turn 10 or whoever the devs are need to correct this problem or give us an option to turn off crossplay. Why isnt the option there? its in Horizon 3! This is [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]. Its been way too long that this hasnt been addressed or repaired.

Also Single Player has more grip and easier handling than multiplayer. i can make comparison videos if anyone has a problem believing this

Dude are you drunk or something both platforms handling is same!
Maybe stop using keyboard on pc.

there always has been differences in grip, and car feeling, across modes in forza
tuning mode feels different to racing online.

also with in 7, there is also grip and laptime differences, depending on what region most of the races are from.
racing early in the morning, when for me, is when the euro people are playing, i can be 2 seconds off my usual pace, also, i usually cant get draft from the car infront of me.
racing around lunch time, when its mainly US players, is when i will beat PB’s easily, and grip levels feel right.

so i can believe that there will be a difference between PC and Xbox.
putting the differences from the game itself, like programming, ad netcode or what ever…
using a PC just opens the can of worms, when it comes to hardware…
when everyone is running the same system, it makes it easier to determine why something is different, but PC…

i only really race in X class, and there few people who use PC are fast, faster than they were when they were on xbox…

but really, Forza is a game for casual gamer’s, made by casual gamers, and things like making sure that everyone is getting the exact same driving experience, and performance, for a game that is totally fair, has been pushed back, so extra cars and outfits and pretty much all the other pointless crap that we see, can be there…
really its about time people just accepted the game as it is, and if you dont like something, go play something else…

you have people like this [Mod redacted - D] above, asking me if im drunk and using keyboard that are part of the reason this game is trash. but thank you tank for trying to help me, its just really bad for pc play. its so bad that when i play the community hopper, the cars just pull away from me. i dont use any type of assist’s, shift properly with manual transmission and have used both controller or wheel. I actually stopped using my wheel because its almost impossible to beat people using a controller, when youre using a wheel. you say its casual but the amount of tuning available makes one think that its not casual. casual to me is NFS. Forza is semi arcade, semi sim, in a class of its own. even when you use full simulation which is trash btw, the game behaves horribly. tonight i will record a few races and post them on here so you can see what is going on.

I have and play the game on both PC and xbox one. I also have a g920 and a t300rs, and mainly use a wheel. I use a control pad if I only have time for a couple laps. Handling between both systems is identical. On any device.

Different feeling in the different modes, is a perception thing only, and has been covered in almost every single forza title in existence. When you are in a test lap, on your own for tuning purposes. You won’t be pushing yourself anywhere near as hard as you would in say, rivals. Cars feel like they have less grip there, because competitiveness takes over, and you begin to push yourself to go faster. Often without even realising it. Move on to online with others on the track, that competitiveness only increases. Especially when you get bumped of the track, you end up pushing even harder still, in an attempt to catch back up to the pack and regain your lost places. At this point, through competitiveness and frustration. Cars feel like they won’t brake, and the grip levels feel like you are driving on sheet ice.

I mostly play it on my PC, and sometimes used it on my Xbox as well. My times using the controller are the same on either device, but my times using my wheel, on the computer, are much quicker. So, input goes a long way to describing that. I have other friends who play on both Xbox and PC and post identical times on either device as well.

I don’t agree with your assessment, but thought I’d mention that Forza 7 does have an option to turn off crossplay in private lobbies.

It’s all in your head. Both are identical in terms of car physics.

You can get an advantage on pc as you can get higher frame rates, especially when using a 144hz monitor helping with split second reaction times say under braking or turning into a corner. However even this is worth tiny fractions of a second a lap.

You’re insane if you actually think the cars handle differently across platforms. You claim you can prove it, though, so why don’t you instead of throwing insults at people who tell you you’re wrong (which, by the way, you are)?

The fact that you’re losing races doesn’t mean your platform is at a disadvantage. It just means you’re bad. I play on PC and place very well in plenty of races online.

LOL everyone forgot about the splitscreen still missing from the PC version.
