With a wheel it is fantastic, after some setting up. Feeling of weight transfer, and using the weight transfer getting near the limit feels excellent. First time since AC or GTR1 I feel like there is actually some tyre physics simulating grip. Sim steering still feels pretty twitchy on some cars, but normal seems good.
The AI is ok at unbeatable and AGGRESSION OFF (for me it seems like its backwards), and once you dont divebomb them and leave them some room, and all in all treat them with the same respect as humans. (Feels like a roleplay sometimes I know =D) I mean I have seen some really bad real drivers on a real track with no situational awareness whatsoever.
Of course the FFB could be better, but nothing is perfect.
Being able to change the races longer, and removing the necessity to finish top 3 is godsend. Sometimes I finish 2nd sometimes 18th but it doesn matter, because like in real racing, it is quite hard to win every race… still, when using mods wisely, especially on the longer races (long option seems to be ~15min race) gets plenty of cash and a new car almost after every race, I sincerely don`t understand why the fuss about loot crates and money being hard to get. I have played some 10-12 hours and have some 30 cars already.
The multiplayer and leaderboards are of course nonexistent at the moment, but given time Im sure they will be fixed. Meanwhile let’s earn some cash and cars to drive the eventual hoppers and leagues, enjoy the single player career, and especially enjoy the driving! (It is a driving game
Im cool with that if they refund me half of the money I gave them for the game. If I have to wait for the full game then they should have to wait for the money that I gave them to purchase said game.
I agree. Amidst all the whining, people are forgetting that the DRIVING is much improved. The sound and the camera shake inside the cockpit is incredible.
I’m also using a wheel. The feedback is light years better than FM6. What settings are you using?
My settings are somewhat copied from the ffb thread in here, with some tweaks. For me they are great, but I am sure there are improvements to be made. Normal steering mostly, sometimes sim…

Agreed other than to say, if I was sold a new car with a great engine, but told I’d have to wait for the interior, mirrors, and elctronics I’d be pretty rightly ticked. Especially if I paid upfront before delivery and they wouldn’t even commit to many “features” most people have come to expect in a car.
I also have used a wheel since FM2 and the original MS Wheel (oh boy, talk about quality issues). The basic racing game play is good I thought. FFB sliders were good to dial it in. I actually thought SP was better than in previous Forza games though for me SP is only a very short and brief visit in the game. The racing felt better but without a format to use it, it was hard to justify keeping the game for my purpose.
I’m with you OP and with this game I’m really happy that I went and got a FFB for Xbox One. It is hands down the best Forza game for wheel. The driving experience on track is the best and I love being able to set longer career races. 3 lap races in career? Give me a break. Only on cars I don’t like.
