Why doesn’t the Horizon development team take the old maps like Colorado, Australia, France/Italy, and the UK and make them locations we can travel to and replay the old races and bucket list events? They don’t have to create anything new just update the graphics, it would be nice to rip through the UK with a bronco raptor or race through Australia in one of the buggies or go back to Surfers paradise and cruise around in some JDM cars or a Porsche, it would really refresh the game and make it more replayable. I mean we got like a mini throwback for a week or two of events that were “like” the old horizon but adding the locations would be a real way to let people do all the same things from the old games
The big issue is licensing, they would have to renew all of the licenses for the country names, sights, places, mountains, buildings… etc.
It is sadly impossible to do that, it would take a long time to finally make that possible and a lot of money. The devs want to rather spend that time into new maps in the future.
