I can understand why Turn 10 took the route they did with the launch of a next gen console. Improvements on F4 would have been sufficient along with more “RACE” cars and tracks.
Your point of vue is good but it’s the gamer one , other side turn 10 had to make a new game from scratch for the launch of the Xbox one .
Right the “GAMER”, the reason why T10 and Forza has been so successful right? Their attention to detail is commendable with cars and tracks and auto vista for all cars being able to paint under the hood all great but what about the driven car? I have an R2 A4 with almost 20,000 miles. It doesn’t feel look any different than the first day I purchased it. Not needing upgrades to win races would be great also. If how the car’s behaves doesn’t change how will you know if your driving skill is improving?
I do t really think the “they built it from scratch” argument sticks after the game has been out 9 month.
The game is becoming very stale, very quick, by catering more for those who want a quick ten minute play, rather than those who take the game more seriously.
Its a bit late asking now.
But not as much as multiple people creating threads on the Forza 2 section because they want the servers to come back.
it should have been a better forza 2 imo
I agree T10 should atleast put up a few more dlc’s for fm4 like new track’s and car’s . If you see this T10 please think about it alot of us still love fm4 .
It’s the main reason I did not get a Xbox One. After reading all about Forza 5 and hearing the reviews and opinions of many racers on it, I decided to stick to my 360 a while longer. I’m not impressed with Horizon 2 for XO either, I expected a lot more for the XO version then what they offer. If you’re going to release half done games, at least offer them at half price, that would be fair. When looking at games like Drive Club, The Crew and Project Cars I at least the feeling they are next gen games. If Forza will continue the way they are going now, I’m seriously considering the PS4. It may become the better option for racing in time to come.
I’m not in a hurry buying a next gen console yet. There are still too many games coming to the 360, more then I expected. For now I’ll get those and wait what Forza 6 will bring, hoping it will bring more then Forza 5 and Horizon 2 have done.
I understand why they did what they did with Forza 5, and I’m totally fine with it. I don’t miss the regular storefront, as we now can share a LOT more than we ever could in any previous installations of Forza.
I don’t miss the auction house, and totally understand why they left it out, as it caused a lot of trouble for a lot of people, as people with NO respect for the game sold cars that shouldn’t have been sold in the first place.
Yes, some file save limitations are in place that I don’t completely understand, but other than that, I find Forza 5 a fantastic game. It could have been even more fantastic if it hadn’t been for all those jerks who kept abusing some of the most loved features of past Forza games, but you can’t really blame T10 for starting out on the Xbox One with a game that didn’t have those. New console, and a fresh start with great possibilities for new features, or reinstating old ones if they can make it safer from abuse.
I would have liked it if they had more rare cars less normal street cars. Above all more race cars and road circuits. I’m surprised that the Race version TVR Spd 12 didn’t make it into any forza motorsport game and other cars that were in previous Forzas.
