Why can't we make a burnout?

some cars can do it easily - try the BMW E34 M5 - I have et fully tuned to S1 with Racing tires and it can do a stand-stil burnout while holding the brake button a little bit.

i’ve done it with tc and sc, it’s not too difficult

It’s impossible to do a full standing forward burnout with Drag tires and 100% rear wheel drive…but why? Because the drag tires in FH5 have 100% grip right from the start, and I’m like what the heck is this??? even the Crew 1-2 can do it!! The only way to get a standing burnout is to set the brake balance to 15% and then shift into reverse, activate full throttle or launch, and slowly release the brakes. Just like there are no real drag tires like the real ones have, but why?? For example…The Doge Charger R/T Forza Edition has a kind of “drag tires” that look realistic, but hardly offer any grip…why not be able to freely select them as drag tires with more grip. Since these tires have hardly any grip, you should install AWD for a “Pro Mod” Dragster and switch to the rear. Forza can’t even get the controller mapping or steering wheel mapping to work properly. If you build in modifiers like in DCS or WarThunder you have 256 buttons that you can assign, and Forza is too lazy to implement turn signals, lights on/off, engine on/off in the game, the community has wanted that since FH1… …Forza Horizon should start listening to the community. 40% of group searches on Xbx are drag posts, another 40% are cruise posts, and the remaining 20% are races etc. If you have any questions or need help, send me a message on Xbx.

The game lacks a simple thing such as neutral gear and you want them to add way more complicated stuff… :laughing:

Forza Horizon isn’t what it used to be, and if TDU gets it right…Forza Horizon is history…hopefully. In the end we pay them… First Lego DLC then Gravity gimmicks…WTH…Forza Motorsport 2 and 4 with Horizon 1 and 2 were the best parts of Forza!!!
PS::rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl::pray:You got it!!

Try putting brake bias all to rear and dont touch brake force, I found that does standstills really well

Do you even know what a “burnout” is? Brakes to rear and a RWD - how exactly will you make the burnout, LOL?

You can’t make a burnout by holding the brake and gas at the same time from a stop. Choose an RWD car with a lot of power and a short 1st gear, and make sure the brake balance is set more to the REAR. (Weird tuning bug, brake balance is inversed, so setting it more to the rear will actually set it more to the front.) Floor it off the line so the rear wheels start spinning, then hold the brake at the same time.

That’s what you should be able to do.

switch from automatic shifting to Manual or manual with clutch and you will be able to do burn outs and get a neautral back.

I already tried all that! No burnout and no neutral either. I followed every single advice in this topic and it didn’t work. If you have neutral back, it’s probably available only for steering wheels but not for keyboard, which is stupid.

I just did a burn out in my FWD integra. You have to ever so slightly jerk the car for and keep the handbrake down. No smoke though unless you wiggle it. I wanted to do the Maxima pullaway but without the grease haha

Not every car can do a burnout without moving. Try different cars to see which can or try your luck tuning one to do it if you can

Horizon tyres? Those are the race tyres, they have the most grip. Shouldn’t you use tyres with less grip?

I’m doing ultimate burnouts standing still in my Carlton in reverse gear and there is smoke. It’s harder to do them without moving in 1st but it can do it.
