Lol, NSA’s probably slowing M$'s servers down 
According to Microsoft, Xbox live is now running on 300,000 servers; that is a massive amount of servers to keep running 24/7 365 days of the year. There are going to be hiccups, but MS have been sorting them fairly quickly. Lets face it, Xbox live isn’t usually down for longer than 5 hours at most; with the odd exception thrown in here and there.

If you are signing into Xbox LIVE okay, but have trouble reaching the online features of FM5, go back to the Dashboard, use the small triple-line button above the right thumb stick, select Quit on the game. Then immediately launch the game again.
There were difficulties on this in the Pacific Northwest for a goodly portion of Tuesday, and again early a.m. (local time) Wednesday.

After an hour of try again later A quick shut down of the game and launching it immediately worked for me.

Xbox Live connectivity has always been Microsoft job. Regardless if it was Original Xbox, Xbox 360 & now the Xbox One. Not the game developer.
Yes, it took me four tries this morning, but the method I described in this thread previously worked.
Forza was down for me last night as well. I could play FIFA and download the Destiny beta but couldn’t go into Rivals or anything. That isn’t a Microsoft problem, I restarted my console, unplugged from wall, all the little tricks and nothing worked. That’s not an MS problem when I can play other games.
This is a thread that shows up every single day at least once.
Please stop…you pay a subscription for this yearly and it’s down 5 hours at most multiple days a week?

Why does MS keep stopping Forza working, yet allows all other games to function correctly?

The effect is sort of lost when there’s a 5 second commercial lead-in; but, funny nonetheless.
Magic Actions for Youtube. Allows AutoHD, Adblock, and other features.
Adblock Plus blocks all Youtube ads, even intro’s.
Normal Adblock for anywhere else. Disables all the ads on websites in the sidebars and top

Try them out, they don’t hog down too many resources either. I just found the Magic Actions thing today actually. The others I’ve had for a couple/few years. The AutoHD is real nice.
There is a thing for Twitch that is nice too. It’s called BetterTTV
It completely baffles me Snow that you continue to blame the blame solely on Xbox Live and MS.
