Where is the NEW FM7 Online penalty Adjudication system T10 promised?

Maybe the troll was able to join back in by going through somebody’s gamer profile and pressing join, that would bypass the matchmaking that would block them out wouldn’t it?

I may have to test this with a friend if they’re willing to let me kick them… for science.

If a player can rejoin a lobby they’ve been kicked from then that’s something I can bring to Turn 10’s attention.

Give the race marshal program a chance. There is a direct line to T10 for temporary bans and marshals can remove players from lobbies easily in between races. Turn 10 has engaged the community to help control public lobbies and I expect it to make a marked improvement in the online experience.

I was able to get included in the program, and in my first public hopper as a marshal I was able to remove players who were blatantly wrecking and we ended up with a good group of real racers. I don’t think that the minority of players who are only out to troll are dedicated enough to make multiple accounts once they are banned, but time will tell.

In the meantime lets see what happens, at the end of the day the success of the marshal program depends entirely on the folks who are included in it. So if you have been around here and have a passion to keep this community healthy apply to be a marshal.

End of the day even if it’s not perfect it’s still better than nothing so I’m not sure why everyone is so upset. The only people who should be upset are those that intentionally wreck people.

I’m thinking it would be really cool if the Forza guys would call Mr. Keammer and ask very nicely if just this once could they please crack open the GPL kernel and maybe fix more than graphics and tracks…Charles

There’s simply too many people playing online in Forza for a marshall system to be effective.

An automated system while not perfect, would definitely improve things.

I have been getting trolled by the same guy since Forza 4. I have reported him to the Xbox reporting system at least 50 times explaining to them that he even has replays on his profile of him crashing people in an F1 car and yet it still continues. I’ve been told to go to certain forum site on the Xbox Live thing every time I go there it doesn’t work and so I don’t even play this game online anymore it’s pathetic that I paid $100 for a game that I play like 2 times a month now online. I have tried several times to get help with this particular individual crashing me over and over and over along with anyone else in the lobby in F1 cars and I keep getting pointed to this report through the system thing and it does not work I’ve been getting crashed since Forza 4 by the same idiot! Now the only enjoyment I can get out of the game is in the paint booth which is sad but at least it’s not a total waste I guess.

Marshall or no Marshall, if someones out crashing other players for the heck of it or blantely cutting huge portions the track(ie Silverstone), I’m punting them off the track every chance I get until they leave the lobby, thats how the vote to kick system been working since FM4. Sorry guys it’s the ONLY way lol. After a while you really get tired of reporting players

You do realise you’ve just admitted to deliberately taking other players out, thus becoming the very thing you hate?

Well done on giving the marshals a GT to look out for.

Yeah. but you don’t get a ban for acting as much of an idiot as them if you report not retaliate!

Collision happens in motorsport. It maybe difficult for Turn 10 to determine which one was intentional and which one wasn’t. That’s why they came up with ghost league. I  ghost league.

I dont think anyone would mind being bumped sometime by accident. The problem are drivers who purposefully ram you. If those people would be dealt with consequently all this would go away fairly quick. But since there are no punishments people will never stop. I have reported multiple rammers, but apparently nothing happened because they just kept ramming. I´ve contacted a race marshal about a rammer telling him i had uploaded a video of the incident, but they (race marshals) are only allowed to punish players if they see the incident themselves while being in the same lobby. Even if every race had a marshal it wouldn’t make much difference cause except for maybe a few seconds in any race they will only see a handful of drivers. If you are behind or in front and being rammed the marshal wont see you being rammed and therefore isn’t allowed to do anything. This whole thing is a placebo to calm the masses.

And racing ghost leagues for me is just not the same. Racing is about overtaking others with skill not driving through them. There are no fights over positions.

Turn 10, roll up your sleeves and patrol the multiplayer lobbies aggressively to find and block the rammers.

I decided to try the regular hopped today. First time in a number of weeks. Literally the second race I ran in the Hypercar room. I’m in the lead on the third lap. Two lapped drivers are creeping along waiting for me to come by when both tried and successfully took me out of the race.
Yeah. Let’s not ghost lapped drivers but have a race marshaling system to try and police something that has proven, since at least Forza 6 to be unpoliceable…

Another thing I have seen is, after a guy has rammed you and you voice your opinion to vote to kick, they friend you and you see them in your lobbies all the time…even if you block them and report them.

This game needs a GTA style hopper split.
[Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D]

People also REALLY need to start voting to kick people in rooms.

Marshall program can be good, for sure, it’s better than nothing and I think it can get a lot to have better community but it will never replace a real penalty system and T10 MUST IMPLEMENT THIS IN FM7 !!! WE NEED IT !!! PLEASE T10 !!! PLEASE !!!

The vast majority of people online, ime, have no idea the marshalls exist.

Sounds like a good reason for Turn 10 to use their in-game messaging system then in order to raise awareness.

If you were ever curious as to the value Turn 10 places on providing a clean place for their customers to race, witness the introduction of a system where a tiny percentage of the people who pay for the coffee in the break room will police a tiny percentage of the races. Don’t be shocked if only a tiny percentage of the scum are dealt with.
