Where is the BMW 850CSI widebody kit?

Sorry that I may ask that question, but why is the widebody-kit for the BMW 850CSI available at Forza Horizon 5 but not available for Forza Motorsport 2023?

I just wanted to recreate the red V12 M8 BMW prototype for FM as I only got my hands on one reward car in FH5 (as it is featured kind of new) and thought of the four bodywork variants: stock, widebody, alternate bmw bumpers front and rear and one aftermarket parts version. But FM only offers three variants and not four like FH5.

So I am just wondering why that is so as the FH5 states the widebody kit as Forza Creation, so there cannot be any copyright problems - right?

Or do I miss something?

Imagine the Forum is Full of Bug Reports and he´s comming with his missing Widebody. Better go back to Horizon and Drift with your 850CSI

The reason being both games aren’t developed together.
I assume the 850 CSi widebody is a PG creation that was done after the car was finalized for Motorsport.
We have this inconsistency with many upgrade options (Foxbody Mustang and C63 S have widebody in Motorsport but not in Horizon, cars have different engine swaps in both games and so on).
Until they streamline the assets (own and licenced IP) we will always have this situation.

With some cars it’s clear they were directly ported from one series to the other (Diablo GTR being the prime example).
Others seem to stem from the same origin but then evolved in each series on their own and thus perform differently and have different upgrades.

The BMW 850 CSi widebody kit was featured for the first time in Forza Motorsport 7 as part of the Forza Edition of the BMW 850 CSi and made it’s debut to the Forza Horizon Franchise almost six years later in Forza Horizon 5.

So it is most likely that the developer of this bodykit is Turn 10 like they are for the other three new to Forza Horizon bodykits of this season (Pontiac Firebird Trans AM GTA 1987, Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 2016 and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 2017) which all was part of their Forza Edition Variants in Forza Motorsport 7.

That’s the reason why I am disappointed that the Turn 10 developed widebody kit for the BMW is featured in the latest Forza Horizon game by Playground Games but not in the latest installment of Forza Motorsport by Turn 10.

That makes no sense to me.

Just found out that the widebody kit for the Pontiac Firebird 1987 they added with the actual American Automotive Series in Forza Horizon 5 does not appear in Forza Motorsport 2023 as well - though it was first introduced in Forza Motorsport 7 as part of the Forza Edition of this special car.

Are there more T10 widebody kits they refuse to deliver in the new motorsport title?
