So it seems the new wide body kits that they have added are only on the FE cars. I’ve checked the ND MX-5 and the ATS-V and there are no wide body kit options, even though the FE versions of them do. Pretty annoying because you are stuck with whatever tire compound and certain upgrades T10 have chosen on the FE cars.

Yeah can’t seem to find bodykits for the normal versions of those cars as well
That makes them “Forza edition”.

Wide body kits can be found under the “conversion” option in the upgrades menu, the same area where you can install a turbo and such. Kind of weird that it’s not under the normal area where one would expect to find body kits but they are indeed there.

Unfortunately, that’s not the case. There is no widebody conversion for some or most of the Forza Edition Cars. The 2016 Civic for example. I have not enough credits to test more cars at the moment.
Honestly, that’s a big letdown…

There is no warning in these two sentences that “A new wide body can only be used with the Forza Edition”.
But the reality was not so.
I understand that they wanted to give something special to Forza Edition.
But I’m deeply disappointed.

Yeah I mean it makes me want the FE more which I assume is their intention, and honestly I wouldn’t mind if you had all the tire compound choices of the regular version of the car, but you don’t. It would’ve been fine to have the bodykit be unlocked when you get the FE car too.

That’s absurd. It makes the paragraph describing the kits in the Week 3 Forza Garage post on the verge of misleading.
Turn 10 really have been very sneaky in terms of marketing for this game, in comparison to their previous games.

Nope, if an FH edition car in FH3 had a wide body kit, you would be able to install it on the normal car as well.

I’ve already shut down for the night but I’ll have to look into that tomorrow when I run this week’s Forzathon.
This is a ridiculous decision. Every change made in this game is to funnel people towards micro-transactions. I think this will be the last Forza game for me. Project Cars 2 on’y needs to add in car customisation and I’ll be converted.

It’s looking the same way for me too. I’ve grinded none stop since the game released and haven’t gotten anything special other than maybe driver gear? Which I could care less for.
240sx and the other Silvia have widebody. So does the brz. Only 3 Ivr tried so far.
Yes any car that had a wide body in FH3 gives you the option to install one. The new wide body kits in FM7 are only available by luckily getting the FE somehow

Lets add the RX7 shall we also guys try to rember most of the wide body kits would be on the tier 3 and 4 cars
I wasnt expecting this kind of disappointment from turn10 . Especially from this game . Im trying to like this game and try to be optimist but everyday when i visiting forum im encountering at least 3 4 negative threads . Theres literally 1 or maybe 2 conversations like “oh man game is so good they did nailed this time etc.” And none of these threads are trolls or giving false information . All of these threads about unforgivable issues(for me no ai in private lobby is really really bad . I bought horizon 3 in day one with my friends and we still playing races with a.i) . Like literally everywhere i look i see disappointments about game in forum . Pity . And now this . Only forza edition cars have bodykits . Lol its like they are trying to piss us . “Here , have some new body kits for cars , lol jk you need forza edition cars first . Hey you should tune your car and test it . Lol go freeplay bro we deleted test drive . You wants some rival arent you . Hahah lol . Hey call send invite to your friend and race with some ai man . Lol no ai sorry . Aah what a great car , upgrade and drive it in career ! Lol homolologoation .”
