Not every issue is going to be resolved in one shot so don’t go crazy if yours isn’t on this particular patch list.

Just out of curiosity; anyone on Win10 who had lots of crashes, lockups and laggy menus have noticed an improvement?
Haven’t noticed any improvements myself on Win10, doesn’t feel optimized
I’m at a bit of a loss here. What game did you guys buy/are playing ? Me and a few friends opted for the ultimate edition, and have been playing it all weekend with barely any issues.
Yea maybe when starting an online lobby it’s alittle strange you get taken to game chat, but just switch back to party chat and all is well with the world.
And I’m still trying to figure out why my friends see liveries on cars I never painted. But eh it’s not like it changes the game, like at all. Still win or lose based on the car quality and driver skill. Idk about anyone else but ive never lost a race because I had the wrong paint on my car, just saying.
Maybe I’ve just become a noob after not playing Forza for almost two years, but I’ve only found very small issues with the game, most not even worth causing a fuss about.
Are there some major issues I’m unaware of ? I got the switching to game chat for whatever reason. Paints can get a bit screwy. And I hear everyone on the paint glitch that crashes the game. But besides that I don’t see where this game is anywhere near unplayable.
If I’m coming off as a noob I’m sorry. I have owned every Forza since Forza 1 on the original Xbox, and I get wanting things to work properly for a game you just paid good money for. But I think many are getting carried away calling it unplayable, me and 3 others have probably sunk atleast 30-40 hours into the game so far. And no one in our lobbies were calling the game unplayable.
Keep in mind I wouldn’t hold Turn 10 accountable for issues out of their control. This Groove thing ? Never had it so I don’t care anyway, but sounds to me it’s getting phased out by Microsoft, not really anything Turn 10 can do about that. And if your having lag issues, try your ISP, tandem drifting with multiple people, I can atleast say for myself very very little lag issues. Yes, it did happen maybe once every 10+ races there would be a spike, one or two of us would crash. But that alone doesn’t warrant the game being called “unplayable” either.
I think this post is plenty long enough already. So if you’ve read this far, thanks. And if you’d care to politely enlighten me on these issues that make the game “unplayable” I’d like to try/check some of them out myself. As I’ve barely come across any, and I’ve played the hell out of it since the midnight early release.

You pretty much summed up my feelings.
There is SOOO much complaining in these forums, it’s insane. “I deserve this…I deserve that!” Good god. Relax, it’s just a game and unfortunately it’s not bespoke just for the likes of you. Suck it up.
Well, I paid 100 for a Forza Motorsports game. Didn’t really expect more or less. Just a smooth, relaxing yet amazing experience, just like I had in 3, 4, 6 and H3. Yet I got a game stripped of its many core components and options, including how VIP bonuses used to work. I also got a game obviously rigged for microtransactions, which cripple the game’s core.
I would suck it up and do my best to enjoy it, but on top of all that I’ve mentioned, I have a game riddled with glitches, inconsistencies and a game that cannot go 15 minutes without crashing. All this despite my system exceeds the developer’s recommended requirements.
So yeah. I didn’t ask for a game tailored to my needs. Just what Forza is. And yes, this is Forza, but it certainly doesn’t feel like it.
If you’re enjoying the game, then good for you man! Enjoy it. Me, I’ll just patiently wait until further fixes come, and hopefully the return of features that have never missed in previous Forzas. Then I’ll buy the game again.

So far the biggest issue for me is freeplay. I can’t play it at all…the car is at the track, my drivatar is standing next to it looking like he has to take a poop and the game just keeps loading for over 10 minutes while I fiddle around on my phone. Eventually I’ll just restart the game & go back to career. I’m using Xbox btw.
This game leaks memory like my b-hole leaks farts after a chili cook-off. The new patch stinks just as bad and makes me as irritable as my bowels.

New patch didn’t address anything really. I mean, fixing liveries while the game is broken??This is my first Forza Motorsport title but i owned horizon 3.
Is there any news from T10 regarding fixes and patching? Sounds like a rushed release for Q4 tbh…
I would assume the first Tuesday of November will hold the first BIG patch update alongside the first DLC pack. We might get a few smaller patches in between then however.

if this was on steam it would be Warner Bro’s pull the release from sale batman levels of overwhemingly negative reviews. If it wasnt pulled it would be 50% off already.
Patch faster. PC players arent going to wait a month when they are used to rapid fire updates.
EG: PC2 has already had 3 patches in less than 2 weeks.

Very true, but I don’t think they care. I think they’ll stick to their schedule and usually patches, content updates and DLC packs release together on the first Tuesday of every month. They may throw in the occasional patch here and there but I think they’ll leave the big cheese of patches to be released along side the DLC packs. I hope I am wrong though.

Maybe they dont. Maybe they do. We dont know. They arent here. We cant be putting words in mouths.
What they are however IMO, is at odds with how the landscape is in relation to community interaction, communication etc.
This is now going to work against them.

Yeah, it’s too bad that there’s not peep from Turn10 here on their official forums - or anywhere else for that matter. I can’t say I expected better communication (Turn10 are some of the worst for this) but I hoped for better communication considering the gravity of the discontent.

I’m quite positive and it seems likely that’s how it’s going to play out. They’re not going to sideline issues after making such a huge release. Pretty sure ALL issues are going to be ironed out one way or another. We should give them time and space and keep our comments and feedback to a level that’s positive and constructive ONLY.
My main issue is I have game breaking bugs mainly the one that crashes my game after a race or 2 or no credits being given after a race. Or my level being reset to 1 even tho it’s a big and Im not perm 1
