When will we next see a patch/update to fix the game?

Honestly I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a long list of issues on a games release and hope that they will patch these issues before full release

Literally every Ubisoft game ever made. Most Battlefield and Call of Duty games. Destiny 2 (which is still hilariously broken). Cyberpunk 2077. The list of games that are massively broken on release grows every year, with many of them never getting proper fixes even after 4 or 5 years have passed (Looking at you, Ubigarbage), so I have no idea what you’re talking about. Pretty sure FH4 had some major bugs in it for the first few months after release.

Some of the bugs here absolutely should have been ironed out long ago, like the server disconnects that also plagued FH4 (but strangely not FM7. Maybe ask T10 for help there WAPG.)
, and the stupid graphical issues that cause high end PC’s to run out of VRAM (memory leak anyone?), but the rest of the stuff is only really going to come to light once you have 800,000 highly obsessed freaks looking at every single pixel in your game world. That’s just the nature of massive scale games like this. You want a game with no bugs? Get used to playing a solo player version of the original Pong. Any game this massive is, no matter how careful the devs are, will be littered with problems.

That being said, it does feel like perhaps they don’t have enough QA employees, or perhaps that they don’t start involving them soon enough in the development process. Some issues really should never have survived past the games alpha stage, and absolutely should not still be present a few days before release AND having “Gone Gold”. We’ll have to wait and see where things go, and hope that the people in charge are at least somewhat competent.

Just need to consider they care about sales not about players satisfaction. Any issue that has no direct impact on sales can stay forever.

Which is why I’m not buying the game. Seen all I need to in beta phase to make that decision. I’ll give the game a shit with game pass, but after all the frustration playing fh4 I just can’t see myself playing 5 more than a week tops. Top notch graphics are useless if the game is trash right out of the box.

The sad truth in almost every case of buggy games. I guess, given the fact that I’ve spent an absurd amount of money on Forza games over the years, I have that “Sunk cost fallacy” thing going on, where I still have hope that this time it will be different, just because I’m invested in it. Literally. Fingers crossed, eh?

I’d love to see the pre-order statistics for this title. Add another tally mark to the “broken at release” list of games.

I’m still playing and painting on FH3. They cut online play from FH3 as far as I can tell. FH4 had its design import feature removed like a year ago. Both online play and FH4 importing were pulled out from under all of us. If you haven’t bought FH5 yet… keep holding out until MS gets their dumpster fire together. XD

And you’ll definitely see a patch to fix some stuff. Likely not everything, but some.

Well mate its not been released yet its still classed as early access so no doubt we will get a patch before the release to public I hope =/

So I think most of bugs and crashing issues will be fixed on official launch day one patch.

UPDATE:

Just opened MS Store and saw it was installing MS Runtime 2015 - 2 variants, porbl x86 and x64

AND

Also opened Mictosoft Update and saw it installing A-Volute.

ANd now i can get past the prologue!!
