So, I probably have somewhere around 80-100 wheelspins saved up at this point, but it’s hard to be sure. The only HE car that I don’t have and still want is the Huracan HE, which I believe is out of the wheelspin rotation, and I’ll probably end up just biting the bullet and buying.
That all being said, when do you think would be the best time to use my wheelspins? It seems like there might not be anymore new HE cars released in wheelspins, and that they might all be going to Forzathon events. I’m not sure if should go ahead and do it, or wait until they put some of the more rare HE cars back into the wheelspins, if that ever happens. Regardless, I’ll probably sell whatever I get, and then just use that money to buy some of the rare Ferraris. But if I’m going to do that, I would like to use the wheelspins when the Huracan, Jag F Type, BRZ and GTR, etc are back in the wheelspins, assuming that happens at some point.
With 80-100 spins, you’d be lucky (on average it seems now) to get 1 new HE car if you used them up, maybe 2, maybe 0. Depending on your driver level, it’s better to just run credit boost cars around Goliath for an hour (approx 1m income) and save up to buy the cars you’d like from the AH. Prices have plummeted for many HE’s to base 200k level and not to bad for others, sans the skills cars which are still holding a higher value.
TLDR; Cash your spins and enjoy the money on cars you want to drive now.
Pretty much this. I won a GT HE for my first wheelspin when I first started playing and after that just 22B’s and MINIs. Prices have dropped so much in fact that since this last addition, I’ve seen three Huracan HE’s sell for the 200k they started at. 100 wheelspins should yield a decent reward if you have VIP. Most likely enough to buy any HE car of your choosing.
I usually use up around 50 at a time and if I’m having bad luck from there I usually go ahead save up another 5 or so then try again. I would blow 80-100 in one go. Just seems to risky to me.
Don’t want to disappoint you but from my experience I’m sure that you won’t get any new cars from your old spins because rewards are predefined at the moment you RECEIVED the spin - not the moment you see it.
Not true. I saved 152 spins for probably a month before the new HE cars were added to spins because I knew I didn’t want to blow them on the cars that were so easy to get for $200k in the auction house. I won a Supra HE on spin # 131. Here’s a break down of what I won on my spins.
152 spins
Won 33 cars (1 new HE car, 1 old HE car)
Won $7,375,990 (using VIP)
I then spent around $9M on more spins which I’m guessing gave me around 150 more spins because I blew all the credits I won with spins too
Won 36 cars (2 new HE cars, 1 old HE car)
Looking back on this… I probably wouldn’t have blown the $9M on more spins. I could have easily went and bought the new HE cars I was missing with it since I won the Supra, or I could have bought the Huracan HE that I still need.
My recommendation, blow the spins now. It’ll be a while before they add new cars to the spins if they even do. You might as well cash in the money you get then you can decide if you want to buy from the AH or not.
Well, I’ve got 25m credits saved up, and the wheelspins on-top of that. My wheelspins are just a way for me to get credits, and cars that I can turn into cash now, unless they put the Huracan back in the rotation. I may wait a couple more weeks until I have around 150-200, though I pretty much lost track of how many I have, but I know it’s at least 80. Wish there was a counter. It just seems like outside the Supra HE, which I already have, the current lineup of HE cars is pretty weak from a resale point.
This evidence is anecdotal but pretty strong IMO: I have had wheelspins hit and win a car. Forza crashes shortly thereafter and wipes out any memory of what happened in that session including the loss of the wheelspin and the won car. Start up Forza the next time and perform the wheelspin that was acquired before the crash and resulted in the won car…what do you know it hits again on the won car(not same car mind you but is a winner). I have seen this twice. So it appears the result of the wheelspin is locked in at the time of the wheelspin acquire. This scenario may point to why the wheelspin is this way; can you imagine how angry their customer would be if they won a car, Forza crashes, they lose the car and then do a new wheelspin after Forza restarts and now the customer wins 5k? Will have a lot of unhappy customers. So it’s good that you don’t lose a won car on a crash(well you do but you get to win another car after restart).
Rewards are NOT predetermined from the time you got your spin. I saved over 100 spins and used them the day the update with new cars dropped. I got 3 HE cars including new ones.
I have never ever seen the Huracan go for 200k. The auctions don’t even start that low. The Countach sells at the price all day but the Huracan I had to throw down the 5.5m buyout.
Yes the Supra is the big money car of this batch. Why? I’m not sure because it’s a drift skills car and maybe that subset of players really loves it or its drop rate on spins is low.
Lastly, the time to use them is now. They just released a new batch of cars into the spins without removing the old ones so use them now for a chance to win these before they get pulled as well. Worst case you will have at least a million credits to go shopping in the AH with.
So, are you a dev of this game? I guess no… And I’m a dev on a game of my own which uses slots too. Besides I had the same thing with FH3 as the person above: loading an older save and receiving the same prizes.
I suppose if new cars can be received with old spins, this could mean that some prizes on your spins are replaced by an update.
In any case, I often buy HE cars since they are not that rare, just overhyped.
Finally somebody with some common sense! This is so rare to find these days.
Just like you, I have absolutely no evidence for my theory, but I know for sure that all wheelspins are predetermined to give you 999.999.999 credits.
If your reward is anything else, then it has been updated afterwards…
Conclusion:
I am still right and you can never prove me wrong, unless you look into the game code
My statement -like yours- is completely meaningless and not worth posting anywhere
I’m not saying I know everything about this game because I do not, but it seems pretty clear to me after using my spins that they are not preordained and set at the time you receive them. For example, I got the new HE car relatively early in my spins and the new HE cars seems to pop up as potential rewards very fast even for older spins. My advice to the OP was to use the spins now when there are the most HE cars currently available as spin rewards.
