No exscuse for vile and volitile forum behaviour over what is, in essence, supposed to be just recreational fun for people.
No clue who that’s directed at but I wasn’t to be clear there’s been no volatile or vile forum behaviour from me. I’m simply stating facts & coding my opinion & thoughts.
Sorry Evan, that most definitely wasn’t aimed at you. Purely a follow up to your statement of ‘Ian not being the most liked’. His perception by people within forum/social circles does not warrant the absurbed level of abuse he received from others, which I believe was also levelled at his family!
You yourself, are always helpful and obliging - infact, it is your posted wheel setup that has helped me fine tune my own for mximum enjoyment!!

I myself don’t like Ian Bell nor do I like his practices, however I completely agree that his reputation doesn’t warrant the abuse he’s received. There’s no circumstance that warrants that especially if it’s directed at his family.
Sorry, and just to add context as to why I even brought this up.
It was purely served as an example as to why developers/those directly involved are so reluctant to post/update within social circles - re the post by opencam. It would be great if they could, but why would a person leave themselves open to attack by all and sundry.
I certainly wouldn’t in their situation after reading posts in the past against those that previously have.
