When I first heard about Horizon 3 in Australia, the car list, customization and map size I was really hyped! Then now the days and weeks go on I’m getting less and less because I’m not getting any exciting new stuff. I saw the “Drone Feature” a couple of days ago and that not really excited me, I want more info like “The Car list, The Whole Map Size and Locations and more about the customization” So please Turn 10 and Play Ground Games read this and listen!
This time of year is normally the part that kills me because your waiting for all the new games to come out and you want to know more about them but they just wont let you know anything. Just take your mind off of it by trying to get hard achievements in other games that is what I’m going to do because most likely like the person I’m quoting said, we are going to have to wait a little while.
I’d say more info will come at gamescom. As for car reveals some time in July I’d say they’ll start announcing cars. I’m super hyped from what has been revealed but at the moment they look to be keeping a lid on a lot of things for now which might be a good thing.
I was expecting someone to leak news of FH3 sometime before the official announcement at E3, but no. Seems like everyone managed to keep their lips buttoned which may indicate the state of any news looking forward for the next two or three months. Ha ha, bad luck!
If there’s one thing that I’ve learned in nine years on these official forums, it’s that absolutely nothing is revealed/leaked/hinted at before Turn 10 has scheduled for that reveal/leak of information. When are Playground/Turn 10 going to reveal more information? Not a minute before the schedule made months in advance for every single reveal calls for it.
Badned ceased being a semi-reliable source several years ago when his primary source of information dried up and left Turn 10. His success rate at guessing has declined precipitously since then but people tend to forget the misses and over-emphasize the lucky hits but there you have it. Regardless, what information he did get was always controlled by the source and not leaked before time.
Not a huge roamer of these forums but usually he’s been right but I guess that’s just selective memory talking. Would you happen to have a link to when he was wrong? I don’t doubt you I just want confirmation.
They have 3 months to create more hype, information will no doubt be trickling out slowly and deliberately from now until release to keep the game relevant and marketable to the public at large. They’re not going to blow their wad all at once and have nothing else to talk about or show during July and August and much of September.
There’ll be a couple more game shows they attend before release, so they’ll be saving some stuff for those. Then we also have the weekly car reveals that run up to release date. Sometimes I wish there would just be some surprises in game releases. Everything is announced before release these days unless it’s another feature they’ve removed, that gets glossed over of course. But just once i’d like to start up a game, and see something amazing that was kept quiet during the PR reveals. And no, i don’t mean surprises like when the game refuses to connect or nukes your save! lol
