Wheels - Steering rotation angle default setting causing issues - 90 degree steering issue - 3890381

When I updated Forza horizon 5 I hopped on, and I found out that my logitech wheel only turns 90°
can you please vote I need this to be fixed!

A similar issue has been caused for my fanatec steering wheel, except it also tries to constantly turn back and forth uncontrollably, like dangerously fast if you go at any speed (first time it happened nearly broke my thumb), forza is unplayable with my wheel now

The wheel changes need to be reverted. This is horrible.

Agreed - my wheel (G920) also vibrates violently back and forth even when I’m stood still and rattles really badly when driving as well. Must be Driving my neighbours below nuts.
I changed the Wheel Rotation to 420 degrees (now that they’ve added it back in to the Advanced Controls) as that was what I always used in FH4 unless I was doing a drift event where I would usually drop it to about 270 degrees but the angles don’t seem to be the same as they were.

Also need an E-Brake working again as it used to till Oct last year and also need the LSB & RSB buttons to function. Been asking this last bit for about 5 Years.

On the constant wheel flicking and rattling for no good reason, it’s also a controller issue as well.

I normally use a wheel in racing etc. but have to switch on a controller for drift events for reasons as stated above. I’ve noticed that whilst the wheel is doing it’s random vibrating / rattling thing, the controller is also buzzing away like crazy along with it. Clearly a big issue that should have been picked up well before release.
C’mon PGG - get you’re act together and release an expansion (not to mention an update for that matter) that isn’t riddled with bugs.

Try running them in a real world scenario rather than your “clean room effect” in-house servers before you say they’re fit for purpose. What’s the QC team even being paid for - if you even have one that is.

I have been having the same issue.

Welcome @FIREBALL2439 - it’s one thing amongst many that are all over the forums at the moment in numerous threads.
Devs - take note.

Also controls have been messed up for a while such as it forcing me to have a rewind button.
I opened a ticket on Forza support and the person looked at the ticket, said nothing and closed it.

That’s the usual response on tickets. No idea why the standard forum response is send a ticket when they just get ignored.

For some reason it sets the new setting to the lowest turnratio with the new update but for me it got fixed when i went to avdvanced setting and changed it back to 900 at the bottom of settings.

That’s what it was set at for me when the update happened.

Does anyone know if this issue has been fixed?

I believe the new rotation setting has the wrong number scale. 2520 gives 3 full rotations lock to lock, confirmed with telemetry. Anybody setting it at 900 or 1080 will get the wrong rotation scale and crazy wheel oscillation. 2520 is actually 1080. 2100 is 900. I am using a Fanatec csl dd with the wheelbase set to “auto”.

Edit: so it seems the max rotation of the CSL DD/PRO is software limited to 2520. Now it makes sense. The game is showing this number in settings but the max rotation output is actually 900 or 1080. So the numbers scale is skewed.

I am following this. I can’t seem to get any decent settings on my DD Pro. This update has completely obliterated my wheel.

Whenever I so much as touch my Thrustmaster TX wheel, it start flicking from left to right. This only occurs in FH5, no other games are affected. I’ve reset the settings in game and in my wheel driver and it will not resolve.

The new rotation setting scale is wrong. The 2520 number at the max range is actually 1080. You can check this in the telemetry. The max rotation is 3 full rotations lock to lock, so 1080, not 2520. So if you have set the rotation to 900 it is actually something like 385. If your wheel is 900 the ingame setting should be 2100. Try that and check the telemetry to confirm 2.5 rotations lock to lock.

Sur Xbox on ne peut pas réglé l’angle de rotation…

I am on a series x. This setting is in the new update.
