I won the De Luxe Five-Window Coupe Forza Edition from a wheel spin but when I try to drive it I get an error.
This is DLC that you have not purchased from the Marketplace.
Only option I have is Remove From Your Garage!!
Anyone else having this issue?

Since I won it in a wheel spin I should now own it. I’m going to open a support ticket.
Unfortunately like most things in life, you don’t own it (as such).
Take the electronic industry, you simply rent it from the manufacturer as they lock everything behind a paywall. The biggest offender for this being Apple, and everyone has followed their business structure. (Right to repair needing to be fought for). Why not they must be doing something right to be worth Trillions? Or is it we’ve all become used to this being the normal? Long are the days schematics are inside the product.
My point being:
You fall at the mercy of the creator, if they don’t want you to have it, you’ll not have it. Unless of course you don’t mind being banned from all online content by breaching their T&C’s for having a car you shouldn’t.
He won it, he should own it.

Hard to see how the OP would have wheelspun a car that won’t be included in wheelspins but always possible it was some sort of bug I guess, especially with this game.
I hope not, or i will stop inmediately playing the game.
One thing is not being able to, of course get dlc cars for free.
Another thing is to have a wheelspin that is a gameplay mechanic that gives you cars that you can claim, put in your garage but you cant drive or do anything with them.
Why are they in the wheelspin to start with? ridiculous.
If that happens to me at any moment, my patience with all the idiotic gameplay mechanics in this game will reach a dead point.
Buying cars in this game has one of the most stupid lousy mechanics ive ever seen in a videogame.
It shouldnt matter if the car is a DLC price, if it is in a wheelspin, you should own it if you get it, period.
Its the same when you buy a car from the auction house. It doesnt matter if its a DLC car, if you buy it for 30 million CR, that should be enough CR. Even if i dont own the DLC.
This way of selling and buying cars in the game is one of the most prehistorics mechanices, ever lol.
I think this is like the other DLC cars. You can buy them at auction, but if you are not say, a VIP Member, you cannot drive a VIP Member car.
You can own it. But you don’t have VIP membership, you can’t drive it.
That car should have never been placed in a wheelspin.
To gift you something you can’t use is stupid and cruel. Do they really think you are going to go buy an ugly $70+ controller to drive it? LOL

In FH3 and FM4 you got gifted cars from the developers that for you to download and own the car itself you have to buy a paid dlc as the car gifted to you was part of such dlc. In FH3 it was a Lamborghini with a special livery where the real gift was the livery and not the car. And in FM4 I don’t know what car it was, as the car remain unvisible in the gift message. It only states that there are dlc is missing for getting the car.
So if now there is a bug, where a once dlc car can be won during wheelspin, it would only naturally for PGG that you have to own the dlc itself to get your hands on the car. I don’t know exactly it is with the auction house, but buying gamepass car without owning the gamepass should be impossible as well. So for example buying the Ford FE Edition '32 Coupe at the auction house should be impossible for people who don’t own that specific car already as part of the limited edition xbox controller code.
I cannot test it myself as I have the premium edition so I paid the carpass and I own the controller as the FE Coupe as well.
Submitting a ticket would not getting you anywhere, as it is supposed to be bug or an exploit of the game. Most likely the devs will in the best case only delete the car from the garage. In the most bad case they will ban you for about 30 days for obtaining a blocked car. They would not believe you getting that car through a wheelspin, they will think you hacked the gamefiles to get it.
They can check the game save data to clarify if it was obtained via a wheelspin, so I see no reason not to open a ticket, but I very much doubt they will help, and more surly than not delete it from garage, and remove it from wheelspins in future.
Although if it was their mistake, then the customer shouldn’t be punished for it occurring. Way I see it I didn’t buy the controller for the car, I bought it because the extra grip was perfect for me.
Any resolution on this?
I have the same car via wheelspin and get the same message.
In theory it shouldn’t appear in wheelspins. And i’ve never seen it there…
