What was your worst Wheelspin?

,

What was the worst Wheelspin you ever got in Forza Horizon?

I got this one the other day…:

I’m still not over it :slightly_frowning_face:

I can’t think of anything more mindless and boring as spinning hundreds of wheelspins back to back for hours. So for me the worst wheel spin is any wheel spin.

very early on in the game someone posted a shot similar to that; the legendary money ones for you were both AMG ONE, the one in the middle I don’t recall but it was pretty similar!

for me 4k from a super wheelspin I think, could not be much worse

some have had repeat clothing items, that’s terrible, though thankfully I’ve not seen that

The thing with clothing is that they’ll disappear from the Wheelspins once you own them as opposed to the 1000cr and 2000cr ones

Everyone gets rubbish ones sometimes.

@AntMoose9513 ,I’m with you. Wish they would just do away with them in future versions of the game. And cut the clothing and emojies back by about 70-80% minimum. Or they could let us have a suit designer like the livery designer so we could design our own custom outfits. Then those who want a driving suit can design one, those who want a chicken suit and so on. And just drop the silly donkey emotes all together.

2,000 credits, outfits and dances are fine. They are gone once you click away from the 'spin.

Getting cars you already have is torture - if there’s no pop up there for a quick sale. This game needs the quick sale pop up all the time.

can’t remember who but it’s been posted here that it’s happened; no idea if two appear in the . . . wardrobe but appearing again in a wheelspin, apparently yes

I don’t think so, it being an actual thing I mean, it has been said on here before that it happens but without any proof.

It hasn’t happened to me.

It’s from a while ago but this is what the ‘possible’ prizes all look like for me, and I very much doubt wheelspins behave differently for each individual player.

I think the chance of winning rare cars and large credit piles was much higher right after launch but got patched and nerfed a lot.

Just wait till you get the participation reward of 1000 CR.

super wheel spin ofc i got all 1000 cr with legendary and epics above on below each one.
it sorta looked like this.

250k, Ferrari 250 gto, 200k
1000, 1000, 1000
100k, 300k, toyota ae86,

I cannot even begin to tell you how mad I was.

Super Wheelspin. 1000 CR, 4000 CR, and socks. Yikes.

Don’t be mad about it, I think the prizes you win are determined the moment the wheelspin begins and the rest is just for show, those prizes either side of what you ended up with had just as little chance as everything else.

i could have got another toyota ae86 thooooooooooooo

That’s what I’m trying to say, you couldn’t, that SWS was never going to land on it.

It works similar to a fruit machine in real life, when you lose or only win a small amount it often gives you the illusion you were so close to something so much better when there was actually no chance of it at all.

There have been bugs in the past where you could get duplicate clothes or horns, but I think they’ve been fixed.

oooohhhok. so the game was trying to make me mad lmao.

…I’m not convinced this is entirely the case given the ‘slot machine’ feel, and with slot machines the whole thing is “pulling the lever” Thus in my observations, I think skipping at the correct time could possibly allow you a very small window to ‘choose’ roughly where it could stop.

Each spindle has X amount of tiles
Each spindle spins at a predefined rate.
Each spindle spins for X amount of time (whether or not skip is hit)
Each spindle can spin at a different speed (slow/med/fast)
Any one spindle can spin at any one of these speeds.
…this is most obvious in Supers as all three spindles will spin at different speeds.
…Single spins can also spin at any of the 3 speeds.
There is a set amount of time that you can use Skip on a spin.

It has been my observation that the ‘richer’ the spindle the faster it will spin.

Thus: To me and my observations the fact that they allow us to skip at all is meant to be like a real slot machine, there is some mechanic to “pulling the lever” as it were and timing when you do it.

I try to aim for the tile as it passes into the reticle after no more than a single full rotation.
(thus watch it go by then try and hit skip as it spins through again the next time.)

*Disclaimer: I might just be insane, I dunno… I simply always assumed that this was meant to be like a real slot machine type mechanic, and skip = “pulling the lever” which is how slot machines work - and you know there is this other popular franchise that has exactly the same type of mechanic to it so maybe it was a bit to close to home in some respects so not making an actual “lever” was an option. (after all, they are “wheel” spins but look like slot machines, not a wheel that spins. (like the popular US TV gameshow wheel of fortune)

…this was probably way too much dissection of wheel spins, but it’s my SWE brain.

Well, with the super wheelspins what they say above, having several legendary cars up and down and in the middle the lowest prize.
