I recently tried playing the game on my Logitech g920 and it’s just horrible. No feel at the centre, little force feedback overall. Played it in the past many times and it was okay. For a second thought there’s something wrong with my wheel but tried Assetto Corsa and Forza Horizon 2. No issues at those games whatsoever ! It’s a real shame for such a big game not to have wheel issues sorted out. When Forza Horizon 4 first launched there were loads of issues on a wheel which they mostly were fixed however the game still wasn’t as good as let’s say previous Horizon titles or Motorsport ones. Now, suddenly wheel issues are back ?
I don’t get it honestly. It’s one of the most fun racing games on the market and playing on the steering wheel should be a priority. Dear Playground Games, please fix that.
Please let me know in the comments if you’ve noticed any change recently when playing on a wheel.
I play still with the older G29 Logitech wheel and quite often the behaviour of the wheel changes significantly after an update.
I have to adjust frequently to achieve roughly the same wheel behaviour as before and had to learn several times to adjust my driving style to changes in wheel behaviour.
I understand that settings and preferences can vary individually quite a bit, so i won’t post exact settings, just that they are a combination of Logitech Profiler and In game settings, for example my force feedback in the Profiler is set to140 % and in game to 21 % ( ).
After the latest update indeed the center feeled very vague and unresponsive, I have adjusted the dead zone settings in Advanced Wheel settings, this yielded an improvement, so the wheel now feels almost as before the update. BTW I have center spring set to OFF.
